Need to get away and relax but only have a few days? Then come to Santa Cruz and experience all the area has to offer. From the beach to hiking, biking, iconic beach boardwalk, and wine tasting there is something for everyone.

Elegant beach house 3 blocks from Santa Cruz Harbor. Excellent fiber Wi-Fi and good entertainment options.

Santa Cruz has strict quiet hours for vacation rentals. The hours are 10 pm to 8 am. This is not a party house.

An elegant, peaceful retreat awaits you in this beautifully appointed beach house. The three-bedroom, two-bath vacation rental sits in an unusually quiet residential area with access to all of the area’s most popular attractions: It is located three blocks from Twin Lakes Beach (with lifeguards and fire pits and half a mile from the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor. It’s just a ten-minute drive(without traffic) to the Boardwalk amusement park, Capitola Village, and lively downtown Santa Cruz; ten minutes from redwood forests with miles of hiking and biking trails; a 40-minute drive from Monterey Bay Aquarium; and a 45-minute drive from the San Jose Airport with no traffic.

The open floor plan, downstairs bedroom and bath and no steps to get into the house make this a wheelchair-friendly home should you have such a need.

This comfortable, beautifully decorated house includes a fully equipped kitchen with concrete counters and upscale appliances - everything you need to entertain at home. All three bedrooms have their own private decks and a flat-screen TV with YouTube TV. Downstairs floors offer radiant heat, and a cozy gas fireplace in the living room. 55" 4K flat screen smart TV above the fireplace which swivels so you can sit in the backyard and watch TV with the accordion doors open, i.e. sporting events.

If you have to bring your work with you, the home is equipped with high-speed WIFI, and even works well in the backyard!

The fenced-in backyard has a private hot tub, where you can relax under the stars, as well as a table for outdoor dining and a gas BBQ. There is even a wagon provided with sun chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie and skim boards, and toys to make your beach vacation complete. Linens and towels are provided. Just bring your swimsuits and enjoy! Sleeps one to eight people. This is a nonsmoking house.

We loved this space for our family! We were able to split the place between two families with multiple little kids and we felt so comfortable the whole time. The indoor-outdoor space was so nice. Everything was very clean, and there were no strong fragrance smells like we’ve had in some vacation rentals.

Maureen's place was wonderful for our family! We loved hanging out on the patio, and even had dinner out there one of the nights. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the bedrooms were spacious and had plenty of storage space. The room with the twin beds would be best for children, as my adult son (who is 5'9") found the bed to be a bit short and uncomfortable for him. We loved the location, as it was walking distance to several restaurants and the beach! We enjoyed many of the amenities (and wished we had time to use the hot tub!). We will definitely try to book this home again when we return to Santa Cruz!

Very nice property and comfortable to stay in. We didn’t use the hot tub/bbq but it looked nice. Beds comfy. Kitchen very well stocked!

We enjoyed our stay and my family loved the central location to all the things that interested them. The hot tub was utilized every night. We did not use the BBQ but would next time we come.

Maureen was a wonderful host who was responsive and provided clear, detailed information. You can tell she really cares for her home. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub, and it was a nice bonus having beach chairs and towels, as well as streaming services, available for guests to use! The location was excellent in a quiet neighborhood and close to everywhere we wanted to go. We had a great stay and would definitely come back. Thanks Maureen!

We stayed at the property for 2 weeks. The house was as pictured/described. It was very clean and nicely appointed and well stocked with the basics and a few nice extras! It's easy to feel at home right away. The kitchen was especially nicely equipped with all the small appliances, cookware, utensils, bakeware, etc. needed for cooking and BBQing (we only ate out a few times). The garage was stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, beach wagon and sand toys which was much appreciated. The house is a short walk to the beach so we definitely used the beach items. The hot tub was great - very clean and a nice feature after a long day! Lastly, the host was great and very responsive on any communication. I would definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying here again.

Everything was wonderful! A few blocks to the ocean / beach. So much to do in the area amazing food! The home was perfect. Communication was perfect. Clean!! Quiet neighborhood. Perfect place for families to enjoy the Santa Cruz area. Book it!

Everything about this stay was easy, and the place was worth every penny. It was conveniently located within 20 minutes of the Boardwalk and Capitola, and walking distance to the beach. We had a wonderful vacation with this as our homebase.

This property was perfect for a low key weekend and everything was so clean it felt like the cleaners had just left. The host was super accommodating, communicative and friendly making the stay even better. It was a short walk to the beach and close in proximity to the boardwalk!

The property overall was clean. The pictures of the property were very very close. It was a little bit smaller than we thought but I think it’s the camera angle. But massive amount of burn. We never felt like we are on top of each other so for five women it was perfect. We all wanted our own space. The ceilings were high. But it was inviting comfortable felt like home. The host thought of everything that you need everything. Throughout the property, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need in the rooms were the bedrooms were decorated very quaint for the area each room had a TV. Everything worked well I enjoyed the bathrobes. I was the only one out of the five women that wore the bathrobe because they were all hot, but it was so enjoyable. We did not cook because we didn’t want to, but they had a wonderful kitchen area to prepare the table was wonderful that we played games at they had enormous amount of games. Everything was so well done. I would totally stay there again. She kept wonderful contact with us. She was very kind and considerate. She let us know when there would be maintenance people coming in. We were mostly go on. There is no issues we enjoyed ourselves immensely so five women that are all clean freaks had no issues. It was wonderful.

My husband and I work and live in Silicon Valley. We are Ohio transplants but have called San Jose our home for over 30 years so I guess we are locals now. We love to hike, bike, fish (my husband) and relax at the beach.

Even though we only live 25 minutes from the property we feel like we are on vacation whenever we go to Santa Cruz. The stress and traffic of Silicon Valley makes coming to Santa Cruz so relaxing. We had been looking for a vacation rental for over 3 years as we needed a downstairs bed and bath and an open floor plan for our son who uses a wheelchair. We also wanted to be close to a beach with no stairs so we could easily get him to the beach. 420 9th Ave. met and exceeded our needs.
