The Seabright neighborhood in the City of Santa Cruz is known by locals as the place to be. Location, Location, Location. . . This Seabright Beach House is the place to be for a fantastic Santa Cruz vacation, and across the street from the Beach and just a short walk to the Beach entrance, Beach Boardwalk, Municipal Wharf, Yacht Harbor, Natural History Museum & popular Seabright restaurants.

Well appointed, fully furnished 3 BR, 2 BTH Craftsman with all the comforts of home: cable TV, two TV's, internet, washer/dryer, BBQ, private patio, and on-site parking. Sleeping accommodations include one king bed, one queen bed and two twin bunk beds. Wake up to the generous Ocean view from the spacious master suite with kitchenette and roof top balcony, plus Ocean views from the Living and Dining rooms. The rental includes boogie boards, five bicycles, and beach gear. Don’t miss the classic front porch! The one car garage is perfect for storing your toys. . . kayaks, bikes, surfboards, etc.

Visit the Main Beach area with competitive Beach Volleyball, pier fishing, kayak rentals and consistent surf breaks. National Marine Sanctuary Center, scenic West Cliff Dr., and Downtown Santa Cruz should not be missed. Other area attractions include: Big Trees Railroad, Big Basin State Park, Ken Wormhoudt Skate Park, Pacific Edge Climbing Gym, Santa Cruz Whale Watching, and The Mystery Spot.

Classic

This house was an absolute delight. The moment we walked in we felt at home, because the house is so warm and welcoming. We have stayed in Seabright a few times over the years so understand what you are signing up for with a classic cottage right on the beach in Santa Cruz. It's all about the character, coziness and curb appeal, and this had it all in spades. Location, location, location - walk everywhere. Garage is full of beach toys and house full of board games and movies. Beds and bathrooms comfortable and clean (huge for us). Highly recommend this wonderful property.

a little musty, a bit strange

The positives were the beach proximity, house size, and porch. The negatives were it was quite musty, especially the kitchen and the beds. There was also an issue with vagrants out in front of the house, parked right in front was a beat up old van we saw what looked like homeless people come and go to (drugs?) and it had a few cats in it who called out incessantly- not the property's fault but it definitely put a damper on things. The strangest thing was my adult son was looking for a cabinet to store his luggage in upstairs and inside the cabinet was a carpeted crawl space with a big gun on the floor. It did not look like a toy so we shut the cabinet and didn't touch it. We did let the manager know that they should maybe lock it up, but honestly it made us really uncomfortable. All in all would definitely not stay again.

Great Stay in Santa Cruz

My wife and I stayed for five nights in late December and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location can't be beat - steps to Seabright Beach with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, easy walk to the Boardwalk, close to downtown and the harbor with lots of shops and restaurants, yet super quiet (especially at night). The house itself is charming and comfortable. The comfy king bed upstairs, well-stocked kitchen with everything we needed, powerful shower, and a driveway for off-street parking were especially nice. We look forward to staying here again if our plans take us back to Santa Cruz.

Fun at the beach

Every year we rent a house near the beach in Seabright and this is the first house we look for. Location is perfect, just a few houses to the beach and short walk to the boardwalk. The house is great for my kids, energetic boys.

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway

Great house in a great neighbirhoid

Fabulous location, walking distance to Boardwalk, coffee, good restaurants and downtown. Great master suite setup and outdoor spaces to enjoy the beach weather.

Beautiful historic home steps from the beach

We had an amazing weekend with our adult kids at the Seabright beach house. It's yards from Seabright beach which is known for the public camp fire rings and they are popular so get to the beach early to snag one. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular on most days. The house is walking distance to the marina one way, and the wharf and boardwalk the other direction. Lots of families walking around at night.

Charming home, perfect location

Charming older and very clean home in the perfect location close to beach, boardwalk, and restaurants. Our family stay included 4 adults and 3 children under 2 years old and it was the perfect size for us. I echo the previous reviewers’ comments and sentiments and will add that the small backyard/deck was ground level and enclosed to let the kids play (and I believe not many rental properties in Seabright have an outside area like this!) We brought what we needed for the kids (pack n plays, high chairs, etc.) and the house already had everything for the adults. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect house and location

This is our second time returning for our family summer vacation. We absolutely love the house and the location. Backyard shower is brilliant and kids preferred that over the one inside the house. Looking forward to returning next summer!

Lovely home!

Really lovely space! Great location, nicely stocked kitchen, very clean, beds and couches very comfortable. Our group really enjoyed this home. Coffee on the upper deck in the morning listening to the marine life and hearing the waves break was a real highlight.

Celebrating our daughter's 17th Birthday

We celebrated our daughter's birthday and the end of summer with a final trip to the beach. Our teenagers each brought a friend and fun was had by all! The location was great and my husband and I appreciated the primary suite upstairs. We would love to return one day!

Great stay in Seabright!

This place was great! Location location location! Walking distance to beach and boardwalk, lots of restaurants. Just loved the porch and beds! Only negative is the showers are outdated and inconsistent with pressure. But still giving it 5 stars! Thank you!

Wonderful summer stay

Location can’t be beat. Beautiful views from bedroom and porch. Sounds of waves as we slept. Property was very clean and well stocked. Manager was responsive and helpful. Nice outdoor space which is actually hard to come by on this neighborhood, many of the houses have almost no yard. When people were walking around upstairs, it was loud on the downstairs bedrooms, so be aware if that’s an issue for you, but it’s also pretty standard in these Santa Cruz houses. We have stayed in many properties around town and this one was very well maintained and we will absolutely book again!

Magical graduation weekend

We booked this house as a kind of “hub” for visiting family members who gathered to celebrate my son’s UCSC graduation. My daughter and her cousin loved the bunk room and my 80 year old mom was perfectly comfortable in the downstairs bedroom. The upstairs suite provided my husband and I with a quiet respite from the days events. Other family members had booked nearby bungalows and it was such an enormous pleasure to enjoy our coffee on the porch and see who popped by. The proximity to the beach was absolutely ideal. We will definitely be back to this lovely home in the gorgeous town. Thank you, thank you!

Cozy perfect beachside escape.

There's so much to love about this beach house. Partner and I spent a long weekend here and it was a great place to call home base in Santa Cruz. Literally next door to the sand, walkable to the Boardwalk and drive or bikeable to downtown. Tons of charm and character. Extra shout out to the upstairs shower water pressure. Looooved it.

Amazing Location!

This home was in the heart of Santa Cruz. Short distance to the Boardwalk and across the road from the beach. The kids had so much fun walking to the boardwalk daily, and enjoying the rides and yummy food! Walking distance to so many different activities and attractions. The home was spacious and clean. Accommodated my families needs. Would definitely come back!
