Feel free to stroll down our paved private road, where you may encounter our Nigerian Dwarf goats (Phoebe, Rachel, Monica, Emma, and Joey), dorper sheep, angus cattle, and perhaps some of the native wildlife that call this area home. You can also relax by our pond, feed the fish, and witness breathtaking sunsets.
During your stay at Barnside, you may see us caring for our beloved farm animals or overseeing our children's 4-H/FFA projects in nearby barns. We prioritize your privacy and strive to ensure a peaceful atmosphere throughout your visit.

All was great. Very clean. Hot tub was nice. The only draw back was the surroundings. Area seemed unkept but not sure how much weather has to do with it. Proximity to town and wineries was good! Very quiet place.

Nice, quiet, relaxing place to stay. 10 minute drive outside of all the chaos of town. Clean, cute and the bed was very comfortable! Slept great!! We will definitely stay again in the future. We frequently visit the area throughout the year.

Very nicely decorated place that was clean and inviting. Great communication. Loved the peace and quiet yet we were close to wineries and downtown Fredericksburg. We really enjoyed watching the sheep and cows. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Cozy Country Stay
We loved our barnside stay here. The goats were friendly and the pigs were adorable. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Clean & peaceful
It’s a sweet little place that’s clean and comfortable. We loved being greeted by the goats as we came and went. We enjoyed our stay.

Barnside hang out was so cozy and cute. It was so nice to be a little secluded. The bed was soooo comfy and the shower was so nice. Host was very attentive when we needed something. I would definitely stay again!

Quiet and Clean

The place was already decorated for Christmas! It was a lovely surprise! Place was clean and was just like pictures. We had a great time and it was just what we needed.

Fredericksburg trip
The property was very cute. The location was great it was secluded but yet still close to town. Definitely would stay there again the next time around.

Super clean and spacious. Very quiet spot with lots of trees. Nice small road for my morning walk.

We're captivated by the peaceful ambiance, dark skies, night sounds, and abundant wildlife. Barnside is nestled within our barn complex, initially built for horses but now adapted into a show stock facility for our children's 4-H/Livestock projects and ranch operations.
