Overall, we had a comfortable stay with 5 adults. The house is in a decent neighborhood in a good location a couple of miles SE of downtown near Belmont University. The interior is remodeled but still feels old and tired. Although there is bedding for up to nine, the size of the house to include living room seating and two bathrooms would be uncomfortable with more than six. The bathrooms are lacking counter space or external shelves to compensate for the pedestal sinks. The only 2 real issues we had were the lack of mattress pads on the bed (fitted sheet directly on the mattress) and the water temperature was barely above luke-warm for the showers.

House was exactly as described. Close enough to all attractions but far enough away from the city noise. If ever in the area in the future would definitely stay again!!!

Never again

The property was essentially as described. However, none of the windows can be opened and they are filthy and have cobwebs on all of them. The property is in dire need of some basic maintenance (burned out bulbs, loose door knobs, etc). The biggest problem was that there is an apartment above the property and whenever the occupant is gone there is a dog that barks constantly. I complained to the property manager and they said they were sorry but that they didn't manage that apartment. Yet when they sent someone by to look at the internet which wasn't working, that person knew the dog's name and that it was kept in a crate all day. She also said she needed to go in to the basement to look at some circuit breakers which pertained to the upstairs apartment. So clearly they manage that apartment and are aware of the problem with the dog. I didn't appreciate being lied to and will not rent from Urban Nashville in the future. Also took them a full 2 weeks to return my security deposit.

Hi Jason- Thank you for your honest feedback and review. Spoke with our team and turns out we had a miscommunication during your original call. We do in fact manage the entire home; both the upstairs and downstairs apt. So sorry you felt we had been dishonest as this was certainly not the intention. Future guests, this home is old and does need some TLC though you'll also find it has some 1920s charm. Deposits are process 2-3 days after check out and depending on your banking institution will take 3-14 days to appear back to your card.
