Long weekend in JC

We enjoyed our long weekend in JC. The apartment was clean and quiet. It had everything we needed. It is a great location- close to nice restaurants, ETSU, and outdoor activities. We will stay here again.

Comfortable stay

Absolutely LOVED staying here ! My family and I had the best experience. Super comfy beds and very cute decor. Amazing customer service. I will definitely book again !!! If I could give 10 stars I would ! Highly recommend especially if you are visiting for ETSU! Super close to everything!!

Daughter/son in law live in Tree Streets. Very convenient for our visits and quiet.

Good visit

My friends and I were in town for a college basketball tournament and stayed here, unit was perfect for our needs. Comfortable, clean and convenient.It was only few minute drive to basketball arena but short walk to a great brewery, coffee shop and several restaurants. I’m having issue with an old email associated with my VRBO account but property manager very responsive via text and new email.

Great downtown JC stay

property is in a great location and the listing and pics are accurate. Clean, quiet, and comfortable with everything you need in a charming 3-bedroom unit. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks, (the coffee maker and record player were special surprises that put it over the top)!

Short stay

Was in town for a funeral. The property was as advertised. Neat and nice. I’d recommend. Close to downtown and bars and restaurants.

Perfect getaway to Bristol Motor Speedway

We came in for the race and it was easy to get to and from Bristol Motor Speedway. Owner was very accommodating allowing us to check in an hour early. Adorable, modern unit. Comfy beds!

Easy stay, great location

5 of us came in to ride motorcycles around the area. This was a perfect spot for us to use as a base camp. Good bike parking and easy walking distance to many downtown restaurants and breweries. The kitchen, bath, and beds were all comfortable. It's a quiet neighborhood. Communication with the host was quick and clear.

Great Location for a Great City

We fell in love with JC earlier this year and have been back twice since. This location was central to all the breweries and restaurants and only 20 min away from a local hike! It's a quiet part of town and we had no issues or concerns. The space was clean and exactly as described. This will be our go to going forward!

Very nice place for 6 or fewer

Clean, great bedding, plenty of towels, lots of pods for the keurig, excellent location. Property is listed for max of 8 guests, but really only has beds for 6. Roku tv would not connect to wifi, but that wasn’t a priority. This was a great place for a long wedding weekend.

Wouldn’t suggest for family or light sleepers

Place is cute but it is small, if you’re a little on the big side it’s very tight in the showers, no fault of the owner but this property is right next to train tracks. All night long every 1-2 hours was the sound of very long freight trains slowing down through town blasting air horns it was very difficult to sleep. It is close to town and there were many options for eating but the first two blocks of the walk are a little sketchy, not a great neighborhood for walking at night. The property manager did offer to bring ear plugs by for us I can’t sleep with them in my ears so I didn’t have him bring them by. Right across the street is an auto shop with two truck and we could hear them returning with a car in tow right around 2am. This place was just too loud for us.

Wonderful Christmas vacation

The warm inviting rental was a pleasure to stay in. The 3/2 layout worked well for us and the location couldn’t be better. We took several walks around to the Christmas trees that were decorated in the public parks and also walked to a great nearby playground several times. The biggest surprise was that the laundry facility was a laundromat over a mile away. We are used to something either in the unit or at least in the building. That was a relatively minor point however and we would be happy to stay here again. We even got to show our kids what a record player is, and they loved it!

Girls Weekend

We were in Johnson City for a conference and wanted a place to stay that was close to the venue. There were 4 of us that stayed in the apartment. Would have preferred that 3rd bedroom had two twin beds instead of a bunk bed, but i understand that would not have fit in the space (we knew this when we rented the place and were ok with it). Matresses were comfy and the apartment was clean. It was great having a hot water kettle as 3 of us are tea drinkers and only one cofee drinker in our group. Overall, a great little place to stay for a girls weekend away.

Nice option with easy access to downtown

Property is one block off of downtown but surrounded by some very rundown properties which made it interesting coming in at night. Communications with owner were timely and detailed. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. Comfortable bedding. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in both bathrooms. Nice selection of vinyl records and coffee pods for Keurig. The kitchen cabinets and floors are not the cleaniest. Very sticky. Dishes are in good shape but pans and utensils were not in good shape. Air conditioning doesn’t keep rooms as cool especially when doors are closed. Just a few things to be aware of.

Slept Great

The response time to inquiries were excellent, they could not have been more responsive. K-cups were provided which was a nice surprise. Everyone slept well, the beds were comfortable. They have obviously worked hard to make the apartment nice. I decided that someone prior to us had a dog and there was an odor of wet dog, or what I thought may be wet dog smell. That was unpleasant. One of our group didn't care for the location, industry across the street. Although, the location is very close to some great restaurants. Overall everything was fine.

Would stay here again

We were visiting family for a weekend. I want to say right off that this property met with my two most important standards: Safety and Cleanliness. We felt totally safe in the neighborhood while we walked about in the evening having dinner and looking into the antique shops. The unit was exceptionally clean! I walked around in my white socks, and the bottoms picked up no dirt at all! The bathrooms/showers were sparkling clean as well. The location is excellent for dining out and doing some small window shopping or antiquing. We walked to most places. Also, it is a very short drive to many other places we wanted to visit. The beds were quite comfortable with plenty of pillows for everyone. The kitchen was well enough equipped that we cooked dinner one night instead of eating out. We will most definitely stay here again the next time we visit the area.
