This newly renovated upstairs studio apartment may be reserved alone or as additional space when renting the Paddlewheel Penthouse. Features a king bed, kitchenette, stand up shower in bathroom, and cozy dining and living space with beautiful views. Located in the building where the famous Star of Saugatuck operates, this downtown location has river views and fantastic people watching! Air conditioning, wifi, cable and smart TV. Walking distance to all things Downtown Saugatuck, this unique and exquisite place is perfect for a couple or single traveler. This property does not have access to the hot tub or pool.

Great Getaway

Took my husband here for his birthday and some much needed R&R. We sat or laid around, which was the objective. Felt rejuvenated when we left. Will definitely stay again!

Great little place

Perfect stay. Very clean place and had an excellent view of the river. Property manager provided all the necessary info and I had no issues whatsoever. Would stay here again!

Perfect getaway

This was a perfect spot for a couple day getaway! The room was very clean and had a beautiful view of the river. The location is great as everything was in walking distance. Highly recommend, would love to stay here again!

Wonderful Stay

The location of this unit was just wonderful. Comfortable accomodations and very quiet day and night. Such a beautiful view out the window, we would definitely stay in this lovely property again.

Weekend Getaway

Birdie's place was just as advertised. Very clean, easy to find and access, and right on the water within short walking distance to some great restaurants and bars. Communication was quick and easy, overall we had a great time and are looking to come back in the future.

Just what you need

Saugatuck is so beautiful, this is a perfect clean place to relax for the night. Beautiful view of the lake doesn’t hurt.

Tulip Springtime Visit

A great location right on the river in an adorable village with awesome comfort and everything you need. Plenty of supplies in the kitchenette, comfy leather swivel chairs, nice appointments, and a great shower!

Great location

Located close to everything in Saugatuck. Enjoyed walking about town and biking to and around Douglas. Parking at the property was tight for our SUV and bike rack, but it worked.

Wonderful Location for a Relaxing Week

We booked the Paddlewheel location to be close to downtown Saugatuck, and it was more than we hoped for. The check in process was so easy because the manager contacted us via email and text days before our visit with detailed instructions. The location was so quiet and peaceful, but close enough to all the shops and restaurants to walk. The checkout was just as easy as check in. We have already discussed staying here again in the future!

Great view of the river and riverbank woods, boats. Loved the unit itself - economical in size but did not feel cramped. Wish there was bar soap vs one tube of body wash for 2 adults for 2 nights, but maybe that was on oversight. Overall a lovely stay.

Beautiful!!!

Great place with a nice view! The whole check-in process was well detailed, and everything was seamless. The place was extremely clean and well taken care of. When my wife and I return to Saugatuck, we will definitely be looking to stay here again!

A night get away

Fiance and I stayed in one of Birdies properties on a Friday night. The place was extremely clean and cozy. Just what we needed. Birdie even surprised us with some 50th birthday decorations. We will deffinetly be back.
