Suter's Forte is a modern, comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with high ceilings and an open feel. Perfect for families or small groups traveling together. Located on a quiet, cul-de-sac street, in walking distance to the Wawona Library, market, and river access, and only a few minute drive to Chilnualna Falls. Cute seasonal stream directly behind the cabin, which kids love to explore - watch a stick float downstream or see if you can find any frogs!
The laundry room off the kitchen offers a washer and dryer for your convenience. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, including a fridge with an ice maker, coffee maker, dishwasher, rice cooker, microwave, and a breakfast counter with bar stools.
The living room features large windows with natural light and a large mounted TV, with AT&T U-verse internet service and WiFi. Relax together with one of the many board or card games, or take the pans to the river and try your hand at gold panning! A picnic table and propane barbeque are also on site.
After a long day of hiking and sightseeing, collapse into the comfortable king-size bed in the master bedroom and watch the wall-mounted TV. The kids will enjoy the bunk beds in the other bedrooms. Each bedroom has blackout curtains for those mornings when you want to sleep in. There's even a Pack and Play for your infant's comfort. Pet Friendly 50.00 per night per pet. The Redwoods in Yosemite is located in the little community of Wawona, 6 miles INSIDE the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. It makes a wonderful home base while you explore and play in Yosemite. Depending on the season, there is always something special to enjoy!

In the spring, the rivers and waterfalls throughout the Park, including nearby Chilnualna Falls, are nothing short of awe-inspiring.

During the summer, you have the opportunity to relax in the south fork of the Merced River & cascading waterfalls. Enjoy a hike to nearby Chilnualna Falls, the Swinging Bridge, and the Meadow Loop Trail. Visit the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. Enjoy fine dining and play golf at the historic Big Trees Lodge (formerly The Wawona Hotel), go horseback riding, fishing, enjoy Ranger walks and talks, or visit the Living History Center/Pioneer Village.

In the fall, the colors are spectacular as you enjoy the walking path around the golf course of the nearby historic Big Trees Lodge. See the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.

In the winter, the family-friendly Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area (formerly Badger Pass Ski Area) offers snowshoeing, snowboarding, skiing, cross-country ski tours, and in Yosemite Valley enjoy the outdoor ice skating rink.

In any season our Wedding and Event Center is open for all occasions! Whether it's for a group ski vacation, business training, a family Christmas or Thanksgiving get together, or a reunion of any kind this is the perfect spot for all to gather. Our Wedding and Event Center comfortably seats 100 for group meetings, and 80 for formal dining. There is a large open deck with a fireplace, and inside there is a second fireplace along with a separate Board Room and Catering Kitchen.
