Our School House is located just 6 miles from the square in Gettysburg, and even less to Devils Den, Big Round top, the Visitors Center and the Outlet Shoppes of Gettysburg. Just 3 miles from Rt. 15 makes getting here very simple. The school house was once an Amish school house but has been renovated to include all the comforts of home. Completely surrounded by farm land, you can be sure to enjoy peaceful and quiet evenings.

The Schoolhouse was in a wonderful location, close to everything. It was a lovely, cozy place to come back to after a long day of touring the historic sites. Our host Ryan answered any questions that we had very quickly. Would definitely come back!

The property is located in a fairly rural area a bit off the beaten path. For us that was just what we wanted after a day of dealing with crowds. We looked at several other properties but this one had a full kitchen and that was one of the deciding factors.

We came to the area for a wedding and was so happy to have a lovely house to come back to everyday. It was clean, comfortably, and updated. The pillows, linens and kitchen was perfect. We loved our stay and the host was quick to respond. Being 15 mins to every attraction was an unexpected delight. Highly recommended.

My third stay here and it gets better every time. Clean and efficient, great kitchen for cooking and close to several local attractions and parts of the battlefield in Gettysburg. Five stars all the way.

This is a rural retreat a few miles from the town of Gettysburg. The views out of every window are lovely, the kitchen had everything I needed, and bed was super comfortable. Will not hesitate to book again.

Rural setting was perfect for our trip, we wanted to be near the action but not directly in the action. Everything was easily reached with minimal effort. The schoolhouse was clean and peaceful, just as we wanted! We would definitely return to this property if our travels take us back to the Gettysburg area. The hosts left suggestions for dining, shopping and ice cream! All of them that we tried were top notch. All in all a very pleasant, relaxing and educational trip to the battlefields.

The school house was in a very peaceful location. I loved that it was away from town but still close enough Tobe there in just a few minutes. The only down side was the house was not asclean as expected. But overall an excellent getaway.
