So relaxing!

We were in town for a Robotics Tournament and our stay here was so relaxing after a day amongst all the noise and activity. So clean, charming, and well appointed. We are already planning on how we can come back again. Thanks so much!

Fun on Park Point Duluth

Our annual pre-Christmas Ski Trip. Duluth Spirit Mtn this year. Myself and 2 grown children. Love Park Point. Close to Canal Park and all the good stuff Duluth has to offer. We'll be back.

Lovely Stay in Park Point

We loved this location for our getaway in Duluth! Very nice private apartment above owners garage. Well appointed with all the comforts of home. Perfect for canal park activities but far enough away for peace and relaxation. We spend a lot of time along Minnesota’s North Shore but rarely stay in Duluth and the was a nice change. We visited Bentleyville, Winter Village, Bent Paddle, Earth Rider, Burger Paradox and Northern Waters….just to name a few! Would definitely book again!

40th Birthday Celebration

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property was cute and very clean. It was perfect for our family. Our hosts provided us with everything we could have possibly needed. It's so nice to be able to have access to a kitchen with all the utensils when small children are involved. The location was perfect. We enjoyed going to the beach every day. The weather was beautiful, and it was a short enough distance that we could even walk. The price was reasonable, and all in all, we were very happy with our choice!

Great Studio Apartment

Lovely unit, spotless, nice decor, everything new and up-to-date. Loved our sunrise walks on the fabulous beach across the street. You do have traffic noises at night being right on the main street, could have used ear plugs. Also need to be aware that you may experience delays getting over the aeriel bridge,if there is boat traffic. No problem if you have no deadlines

Great rental in Duluth!

The property was great for our family’s weekend stay. It met all our needs and was a comfortable place to return to and relax. Very clean and well-furnished. The EV charger in the parking stall was a very convenient extra amenity! We would definitely stay again.

Girls weekend

This was the perfect place to stay for our girls weekend in Duluth. Close to beach, restaurants and shops at Canal Park. Beautiful, well appointed space, with a lovely lake view outside deck for morning coffee. Tom and Karleen are fantastic hosts. We will be back!

Park Haven

Our second year staying here. Comfortable, clean,great place to come back to after hiking or walking beach. Owners are easy to work with and very welcoming. Love the little patio outside door, perfect for evening wine and watching the harbor. Thank you Tom and Karleen, hope to return again.

Family Duluth Trip

It was so fun and sweet! The host were amazing, the property was exactly what we needed as a family of 5! It was an excellent location, great parking (which is so nice for Duluth)! I would highly recommend and will be back next year!

Great stay and enjoyed visiting Duluth

Apartment had all we needed for family getaway.Full kitchen, board games to keep kids busy, dark room for kids to go to bed early. Location is within biking distance of canal park and park point beaches. Tom and Karleen live below - got a chance to chat and know them a bit. T

New Loft Apartment on Park Point

We found the space very clean, the kitchen and bath well appointed, and the location just perfect for our visit to Duluth. The hosts are experienced hosts and it shows. No longer youthful, I would have preferred more plush mattresses, sofa, and chair on which to rest. They were too thin and unsupportive for me. Visitors should be aware that this is a single, open space, with no walls between the sitting area and two beds. Some additional instructions for the TV and AC units would help. The deck space is lovely, and dedicated parking is great on such a busy street.

Perfect studio!!

This was the perfect little studio for our family. The space was small but provided us with everything we needed. The location was great! Close enough to walk to the beach and Canal Park. The on-demand water heater was a nice bonus with 6 of us showering! Would have been nice to have some extra garbage bags and kitchen wash cloths and towels. But that is my only critique. Everything else was great!!

Nice place, Nice hosts

Good Location to enjoy Duluth area. We were visiting for a family wedding at Park Point Beach house, had adult children with us. I didn’t notice there was no separation in the sleeping area, but my family kept a kind attitude to my not seeing that and we used the small space 3nights. Be sure you realize this space is very European in feel.

A perfect place for us

We travel back to Duluth each year to spend a few days as I grew up there and my daughters really enjoy the lake and atmosphere of Duluth. We found this place vs staying in hotel and it was perfect for us. We basically rode our bikes all over and enjoyed Canal Park and Park Point from this perfectly placed home. Thank you!

We hosted guests at Garden House Bed and Breakfast in Port Wing, WI for 25 years, as an encore career before deciding to move back to Duluth to be closer to the family we raised here. We walk, bike, and ski and both play instruments in local wind orchestras. Karleen is a fiber and watercolor artist and is in the process of turning this house and yard into a home. At our Bed and Breakfast Tom was in charge of talking and does miss visiting with our guests. We encourage our VRBO guests to stop by for a visit.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We were looking for newer construction with room for Karleen's piano and Tom's tuba and a small yard. The design of the house with its great lighting is ideal for displaying our art collection. The South facing roof allowed us to add Solar Panels in the summer of 2022. We had always loved Park Point. It still feels like traditional neighborhood and the apartment allows us to stay in the hospitality business.

We are located just under a mile from the Canal Park shopping and restaurant area, the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center, Festival Par,k and the entrance to the Port of Duluth, an International Shipping port. Ships can be seen entering the port from our guest's apartment.
