Nice place, well apportioned and in an ideal location

We enjoyed staying in this property. We were in town to deal with family issues and this place gave us a nice respite to our daily activity. Thank you for delivering well!

Overall experience with Padre Escapes company was poor. We came for a week and received only one bath towel per person. 2 dishwasher tablets only. No toiletries at all. When contacted the host, I was told that's what they do. I had to ask a few times for more towels. Kitchen was very poorly equipped. Patio furniture were very dusty. Common area around the pool was dirty, water in jacuzzi was super dirty. I've rented multiple apartments at Spinnaker but its never been that poor. Not going to rent that place again.

Waterfront Condo

Older property with close location to beach. Picture made it seem this would be a quite location. Could hear and see street traffic from outside balcony. Padre Escapes very responsive to questions.

Great place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great place for fisherman needing a bed for Baffin. I didn’t see it in the description but when planning your stay, if you gonna have a boat and trailer you can keep it on the street and there is plenty of room. We didn’t do the boat slip because we were traveling to Bird Island to launch but slip was in good shape. Overall this was a great place to stay.

Spring Break Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the unit had everything we needed, it is in a great location and super quiet. The microwave wasn’t working and the management company didn’t tell us before the arrival. We had to call for service on the hot tub which was taken care of the next day. Parking was good with the reserved spot and access to the unit was easy. The management company checked in with us after we arrived to make sure we were all set.

I rented this condo for my daughter, her husband and my 2 grandchildren. My son-in-law woke up in the a.m. with water dripping on his face from a leak in the ceiling. Management responded promptly and sent someone out to check it but it wasn't fixed during their stay. I would suggest that the owners provide more than one towel per person and a little more in the way of laundry soap and cleaning products. Management employees were very personable and helpful

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was probably my worst stay at a condo. One restroom toilet was not working the whole time and would not flush. There were ants on the front and back porch. Also the title inside was cracked and tripped some of our kids when they would run.

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay and you had some maintenance issues. I do not see that you reached out to us about them and would have gladly addressed them for you. We have an on-site maintenance team ready to address anything thrown their way, please do not hesitate to ever let us know of any issues or concerns you may have during your stay. As an update we have since replaced the couple of cracked tiles within the unit, our maintenance was unable to find any issues with any of the toilets, and they were able to retreat the space for preventative pest control! Our stay was not what was expected. The refrigerator was broken the entire week, it was obviously broken before we got there. We booked a condo over a hotel to have a full size fridge and be able to cook meals. We lost our groceries. The management company did have good communication but the mini fridge they brought us was just not like having a full size. We could have had a mini fridge at a hotel. This cost us more money in the long fun having to eat meals out after we lost our groceries. They only compensated us 100. In addition we had roaches. The saw roaches at the pool area and the pool was always dirty. We ended up spending more time at our friends condo to enjoy a clean pool. This condo needs some upgrading.

Unfortunately, the refrigerator experienced an unexpected mechanical failure during your stay when the evaporator fan went out. Prior to your arrival, the refrigerator was operating properly. As soon as the issue was identified, we ordered the replacement part, provided a mini refrigerator so you could keep essentials cold while we waited for the part to arrive, and issued compensation for the inconvenience. We understand that a mini fridge is not the same as having a full-size refrigerator, and we're sorry for the disruption this caused to your vacation. The pool and surrounding common areas are maintained by the HOA, but we will be sure to share your feedback regarding the pool's cleanliness. We also appreciate you letting us know about the roaches, as that's something we take seriously. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you the very best in your future travels.

The unit was clean and we found it to be an accurate description. We had several maintenance issues. Water pressure in master bathroom was very low. Shower was almost unusable.Showerhead in hall bath sprayed water on ceiling when on. Sink faucet was missing screen and water went all over counter when turned on.Electrical issues throughout the unit. We were unable to use lamps or wall sockets in the bedrooms or living room. We reported it on day 1, spoke to maintenance in detail day 2, they did not repair it or communicate with us after checking the outlets. We reported it again and it was addressed by another person from the property management company. They then called an electrician who would come out on our last day. We opted to let them come after checkout. This was not only inconvenient to not have outlets for a week but unsettling as to why the electric was not working correctly. This was not a breaker issue. There were active wasps on the back patio, they came back after the nest was sprayed. The maintenance removed the nest on their 2nd trip and the wasps came back. We could not use the patio. We chose this property to enjoy the morning sun on the patio overlooking the canals. The soffit over the back stairs was rotted and had birds living in it. Wood debris was falling into piles and neighbor children were tossing it over the back. Maintenance informed us this was an HOA issue. There were also birds living in the fireplace.Not a great experience.

We also did not receive any reports during your stay regarding the water pressure in the primary shower or the shower sprayer, so we appreciate you bringing those items to our attention. Regarding the soffit, we reported the issue to the HOA on two separate occasions, and they've advised that repairs are being scheduled. Mini Vacation in January for Folks from the Midwest

Had a lot of windy days. Couldn't use the pool or the hot tub or sit out there during our two weeks. The tubs in each bathroom were not designed for anyone 6 ft.+ The unit was very clean.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room was nice and clean. Check in was easy and convenient. The staff were nice and friendly for booking but responding to questions/issues took a long time. We really liked that we had covered parking and the area was safe to take walks and enjoy. On the downside; The thermostat didn't seem to work properly, so the room got very warm at times. Also with the neighboring rooms sharing a deck it was very loud until all hours of the night. There doesn't seem to be a quiet time and the pool cerfew is not enforced. So be ready for very little sleep.

Last minute family vaca!!!

We had a great time. The condo was super nice and clean. The pool and hot tub were great as well. We will definitely be staying here again.
