Wonderful location and clean, comfortable property with all the basics you need for a relaxing stay at the beach! The view is truly special, and the area at the end of the island is quiet and makes you feel like you are getting away from it all. Highly recommend!

The view of the ocean from the front deck cannot be beat. Drinking coffee in a rocking chair in the morning as the sun comes up over the beach with the sound of the waves crashing 75 yards from you; this is what a vacation is for. We love Sweet Carolina Cottage, and have stayed there three consecutive years. The accommodations are comfortable, the place is clean and well-appointed, and the kitchen is more than adequate to cook meals for a crowd.

We had a great time, the view was fantastic every time we stepped out on the front porch you could hear the waves landing on the surf.

Wonderful view of the Ocean great to sit with a coffee and just enjoy. House was a good set up for a family and very quiet loved it!! Awesome very short walk to Beach!! We had a great time!! Thank you!! Hahn family

A great house and host! We had an issue with a toilet just running throughout our stay. I messaged the host and they had a company come out to fix it within an hour. The Mannings House is lovely and had everything we wanted for our stay for the week. Hopefully it will be available again whenever we come back to OIB!

Overall, our stay was just okay. I'm not sure housekeeping/cleaners were in the house before we arrived. Counters were dirty, floors were dirty, the couch was covered in sand, the upstairs room was covered in sand, and the walls were covered in dust/lint. The towels hanging in the kitchen were stained and dirty. Pillows were stained. Bathroom rug was dirty. I did laundry, swept the floors, and wiped everything down as soon as we got there. The price was appropriate for the condition of the home. The location was great, but would probably not stay again. I would pay more for cleanliness.
