The "Beachcomber" house is a fantastic beach cottage just a few hundred feet from one of the best beach accesses in town. You’ll be in close proximity to everything: beaches, restaurants, shopping, and activities. Make your next trip to the Outer Banks a memorable one. This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom (plus outdoor shower) is perfect for groups up to 8 people. There is ample space inside and outdoors to relax.

Equipped with everything you need, including beach gear: 4 beach cruisers, 8 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, a cooler, and a beach cart to make the short walk even easier.

This beach cottage has a open floor plan with the living and dining areas, and kitchen on the top floor to maximize views of the ocean. There are three bedrooms on the first floor, along with two bathrooms (one in the hallway and one ensuite master bath). The top floor has a third, full bathroom.

Outdoors there is an 8-person hot tub and outdoor shower on the ground level, along with a fire pit. The home sleeps 8 and has ample seating both indoors and outside for everyone to relax.

The ground level has a carport with a picnic table, outdoor shower, and charcoal grill. This level also has a storage unit with all beach supplies (a beach cart, 8 chairs, 2 umbrellas, and a cooler), plus 4 beach cruiser bikes.

There is also a full size washer and dryer in the storage room.

The top level offers ocean views off the front deck and views of the Wright Memorial from the back of the house. This floor contains the main living space with a big screen Smart TV, which allows you to access your streaming services and YouTube TV for watching live channels. The kitchen has bar stools around the counter and a dining table with seating for six. There is a full bath with a shower on this floor too.

Guests will have the entire house via a smart lock that uses a keycode. There is plenty of parking in the double wide driveway, including space to pull under the house. You can ride the bikes provided to local stops and restaurants. The Raleigh Street beach access is a short walk away (though there is parking too should you wish to drive).

The house can accommodate up to 2 dogs, with a fenced-in backyard. If you have a special request please reach out to us.

Great home away from home

We have stayed here before and absolutely love it. Great house and location, very well appointed, fully stocked kitchen, great linens, soothing atmosphere. Even the beach outings are made easy with chairs, a beach cart, plenty of towels… let’s not forget the hot tub for chilly evenings or just plain fun. One negative for older people are the steep steps, and plenty of them. Highly recommend it to travelers who want some luxury on the beach.

Perfect vacation spot

This property was amazing! It was very clean and had everything that you need for a great beach vacation! We really appreciated all the beach supplies in the storage room instead of having to haul beach chairs/umbrellas, etc. Walking to the beach was wonderful. The property managers replied to questions very quickly which was appreciated. We will definitely stay here again! I recommend it for anyone, especially if you have kids or a group.

Home away from home

This home was perfect for my wife and two boys. Clean, clean, clean! Everything was very nice and it seemed like we were staying in a new construction home. Tastefully decorated and seating was plentiful. Beds were comfortable and master bath had lots of room, double sinks, and heated floors. Hot tub was clean and like new. The under home storage housed a washer and dryer, 4 bicycles, beach chairs and toys for the kids. Front and back deck were really convenient for sunrise and sundown timing. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and a 3min 1 block walk to the beach. Hope to return some day!

We loved our week in Kill Devil Hills OBX. This house was in a perfect location to walk a block to the beach. The house was equipped with so many extras that it made life easy. We enjoyed the bikes, all beach chairs, umbrellas, the hot tub and grill. We were able to bring our dogs. The house was clean and spacious. What a great time. Thank you.

Family Stay at Kill Devil Hills

Wonderful stay at Kill Devil Hills with the family. Easy and short walk to beach with or without stuff to carry. The property was very beautiful inside and well apportioned with all the essentials. There were lots of steps in the property. It was light and open and several decks for sitting outside and enjoying breakfast and/or the evening sunsets. The hot tub and outdoor shower were wonderful after a long day at the beach. The fenced back yard was absolutely the best for the pets who also loved being on the deck and watching over everyone! Thanks for a wonderful stay...

First rental experience

... and it was wonderful in every way: well appointed, classy and even a fully stocked kitchen . No junky beach style here. One thing that we wished we had known was the earlier check out time. That made the last day shorter than planned.

Enjoyed staying at this property. Very clean and all photos were update on website. It was nice to have plenty of beach chairs and bikes for outside usage! I would suggest leaving at least two sets of towels per room. We texted owner for more towels /linens and they were awesome to respond and bring another set of towels to us. Just a suggestion that corn hole Boards would be a great addition to outdoors games and activities! Over all we loved this place and highly recommend it!
