One of the best locations in Kill Devil Hills on sought-after Bay Drive. Bay Drive Multi-Use Path is a great community feature in this neighborhood that stretches down the sound front with multiple community sound accesses, boat launch, community pier and parking to launch a kayak. The path leads to the Wright Brothers Monument, which is a 2.6 mile bike ride away!

After arriving at the cottage, walk up the spacious wrap around decking that boasts water views across Bay Drive. The first floor has a full kitchen, dining room, living room with smart TV, powder room and the master suite with private access to the backyard. The second level has two additional bedrooms and a shared full bathroom. There is a room in the back of the top level that joins the bedrooms and has one additional room. Great kids room or play area.

Only issue I had was not being informed about the pet fee of 120 a dog until just days before I was to check in when I was upfront about bringing my 2 dogs when I booked 3 months earlier. The house was great. Clean, beautiful views, and a very well stocked kitchen. It was a good homebase for our stay.

The house is beautiful! Everything was clean when we arrived, the beds were all made, clean towels were on each bed. The king size bed was so comfortable! The kitchen is very well stocked and I love that there is an ice maker. There is a walkway right across the street for bikes, jogging, or simply walking (with or without your dog). The sunsets over the sound were beautiful! We stayed for 2 weeks and had a lovely time!The host, Maria, responded very quickly when we had questions.

The stay was great! There was everything we needed for a big group staying a couple days on the beach. The kitchen was particularly well stocked and all the essentials were there. The only problem we ran into is that we attempted to contact the hosts several times before our stay to ask questions about the house and check in. On the day of check in, they sent a message with all the instructions which was helpful but did not answer my previous questions. I texted them several times and finally got a response about an hour before check in. Besides that, it was a great stay!

This property exceeded expectations. The kitchen was extremely well stocked for both cooking and dining — everything we needed was there, which made meal prep easy all week.The furniture and décor were really well thought out, making for a comfortable, welcoming space throughout. The yard was a great spot for hanging out, and the location put us close to plenty of food and recreation options.The host’s communication was fantastic — quick replies whenever we reached out, which made the whole stay feel easy and well taken care of.A few small notes for future guests: there are three paddleboards, but only two usable paddles, so bring an extra if you can. Life vests are stored underneath the boards — we missed this and ended up renting our own, so worth checking there first. There’s also a burned-out outlet by the stairs, though that was the only maintenance issue we came across.Overall everything else worked great, and we’d happily stay again.

We had a great stay! It was the perfect size for our family of 5. It was easy to get to every thing in town. The place was very clean, which I appreciate! We also loved the views from the deck!

Overall great spot for a get away to Kitty Hawk. Very nicely furnished. Close to a lot but quiet and wonderful views of the sound.

Perfect spot!

We loved staying here! The house is so comfortable and has absolutely everything you need. The location is great with a walking / bike oath across the street and the most amazing sunsets. Highly recommend this house!

We had a beautiful stay at this location. The home was updated and clean with a gorgeous view of the sunset each evening. Very close to the beach and right by a great walking path for our dog. Highly recd.

Friends and I enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the house was lovely. The only negative was that we could never get the Wi-Fi password to work.

Perfect Easter weekend stay

The home was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked. Kids loved the upstairs and little bonus room. It was a great location for exploring the outer banks.

Another amazing stay!

This is our third stay and have enjoyed everytime. Owner is responsive and the house is always clean. The location and nearby walking path are some of best features! We'll be back!

Perfect Stay

The house was every bit as advertised. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the house is setup to accommodate a large family with ease. The owners go above and beyond to make your stay as great as possible. Will definitely stay here again.
