We love this rental! Our family enjoyed the house and dock! Location is perfect. Sunsets are amazing. Lots of memories were made. The host is very responsive. Home is spacious, clean, and well stocked with kitchen items and other things you may need. Highly recommended this rental!

Our family had a lovely time in this beautiful spot. If we had any issues the owner quickly as possible resolved those. Boat dock was just around the corner in the next cove, access was easy.

Very nice property.

We all enjoyed our stay. It is a really big property with lots of space. The boat dock was a lot of fun, just wish the water taps worked for cleaning our fish. Over-all the whole family liked and enjoyed our stay.

Great place to Stay

This lake house was centrally located at Lake Gaston. Even though it was winter, we found activities at the house, and went to see Christmas lights in Freeman Va. House was fully equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Great water View. Screened porch and swing on deck was relaxing. Would rent again.

This was our 2nd time staying here, and it did not disappoint. After an initial couple of rainy days, the sun was shining and the property was beautiful and so was the lake. Ken was very quick to respond when we had questions. He is always very communicative. The home is very clean and very spacious and comfortable. Everyone had a great time.

Relaxing week on the lake!

We spent a relaxing week at Lake Gaston. Lots of swimming, boating and a fun day with a jet ski. The house was perfect for our group. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck off the living room. The porch swing was a hit with our whole group. We played lots of games on the kitchen table. What a treat to arrive on July 4th and see fireworks just across the cove. It was a great show! The boat dock was large enough for our whole group to relax although most of us spent more time in the water! Thanks for a great week!

We had a fantastic time at the lake house. The host had the house stocked with all the comforts of home (ziplock bags, Tupperware, coffee maker, air fryer, mini fridge and full fridge.) The paddles boards were so fun to take out on to the water. Fishing off the dock was a favorite of all the guys. We had kids with us ranging in ages 18 months to 8 years old. They all had fun playing in the nice shallow water. The house was just so clean. It was nice to have access to smart tvs with all the popular platforms available for guest use. Would recommend for multiple families or large groups as there was plenty of places to hang out.

Summer’s Over Relaxation Trip

This property was absolutely perfect for an end of summer family vacation! Beautiful, spacious home, with everything in it you could possibly need! The house was very clean when we arrived, linens are provided, beds were made and all of them extremely comfortable. The location on the lake is ideal. The water is deep enough for a good swim, but shallow enough in places for the little ones to play. There are so many great places to sit and watch the water and the boats go by - the upper porch, complete with a relaxing swing, the upper sun deck of the dock, and of course, on the dock itself. We tied our boat up to the front of the dock so it was always convenient for a ride or some tubing fun. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely rent this home again.

“The Lake” - The Peaceful Place

This is our second time at this beautiful home. It was once again a perfect place for our family gathering. The comfortable beds were made ahead of our arrival - fresh and clean - and a large bin of bathroom towels were ready for use. I’d forgotten how well stocked the kitchen was - all spices and basic pantry items were available as needed. As for the dock - The new bumpers accommodated our 22ft boat, the height of the lower level was great for our grandchildren - they jumped and swam for hours (7, 5, and 4 yrs old), and the upper deck is a lovely spot for morning coffee, evening cocktails and contemplation. This is a house that we would love to visit regularly.

Beautiful and relaxing weeks by the Lake!

This is an exceptional VRBO home. We were there for two weeks and enjoyed each day - during rain and shine. The house accommodated our family very well, and everyone felt that there was ample space for our needs. The kitchen was nicely laid out and well-appointed. The beds were very comfy, and it was particularly nice to arrive and have all of them already made. The porch off the kitchen is as nice as the photos show - and many meals were eaten out there. The dock and second floor sun deck provided a beautiful view of the lake and easy access to swimming. The owner responded quickly after we dealt with a problem with the oven, and was also very responsive with any question we sent him during our stay. This overall area of Lake Gaston is a favorite of ours and we would stay at this particular home again.

Awesome 4th of July Week

Our family had a fun and relaxing week of swimming in the super clean water off of the dock, fishing…we lost track of how many fish were caught, sitting on the beautiful dock, boating and tubing, all getting into the kitchen and cooking together and having everything we needed, game nights and great sleeping in the comfy beds! This house is exceptionally appointed. Soft sheets already on the beds, bath towels and washcloths, each bathroom has shampoo and conditioner….if you forget something it’s probably already there! Most of us barely left the property and another part of our family was nearby and loved our dock and swimming and fishing, so they visited often. Ken was an excellent manager/owner and was very gracious about a toilet incident that never should have happened….let’s just all remind our kids that worms and the mulch they come in should never be flushed. Don’t hesitate to rent this wonderful home….you won’t ever want to go anywhere else! Terry

The kitchen was very well stocked, cooking and baking needs, spices, utensils.The house was very clean and accommodating, sheets towels provided and bathrooms well stocked with soaps and shampoos. The dock and boathouse were amazing! Chairs, floats, fishing gear, wonderful thought put into the accommodations of the home.

Great Vacation!

We loved the house, location, and all the amenities that the house offered. We had a fantastic family vacation, swimming, kayaking, paddelboarding, and fishing. We will definitely come back !

Relaxing Trip!

It was our best family vacation ever! We spent quality time together away from our busy lives. I very much enjoyed the location and the view. It was very relaxing and had all the amenities to not even leave the lake! Would definitely love to come back!
