Great place for a single family vacation

I loved the location. Very easy to get around from here. Close to Wal Mary, plenty of places to eat and near a great spot for beach access. I stayed with my 2 kids and it's a perfect spot to stay when you are coming with just you and your family. I'd stay here again in a second.

Wonderful stay

We loved this place. Very close to beach and everything we needed. It was very clean! The furniture and appliances were a little outdated but other than that it was great!

Perfect Getaway

Perfect getaway We loved coming back to this adorable, quiet complex to relax after a long day exploring the outer banks! I am giving 4/5 stars due to a couple of little things, but overall we had an amazing experience. We were traveling with our almost one year old and we kept finding sharp little bristles in the shag carpet. I stepped on two personally and it was painful. In addition, we had a difficult time giving our child a bath because the drains in both tub did not hold the water in. There were also some birds chirping in the chimney/fireplace. Other than that, everything was clean and comfortable !

Great getaway

We came in the spring time and had a lovely stay with our family of 3. The location is close to everything and a short drive to the beach (could probably walk except would have to cross a busy road). The layout of the place was really spacious and the decorations were lovely and added to the vacation vibe.

Die Wohnung war sehr schön, leider gab es ein paar Dinge die nicht funktionierten. Der Fan im Wohnzimmer, dazu war die Klimaanlage der Nachbarwohnung sehr laut , was wir dann bei uns im Schlafzimmer gehört haben und uns sehr gestört hat. Und oft sind Hunde mit ihren Besitzern an unserem Schlafzimmer Fenster spazieren gegangen.

Anniversary Trip

We go away every year for the first week of August to celebrate our anniversary. This condo was perfect for us. We loved the location. We had easy beach access in Kitty Hawk. The pool is huge. The AC really blasts. There are tons of great restaurants close by. Like others have said, our only suggestion would be to put a tv in the second bedroom. My kids were disappointed by that. But we had a wonderful time regardless.

More than did the job!

This our family's fiest time down in this area. In fact this was the furthest south we have traveld for vacation. It was great. Great location and distance from the beach (2 min drive) AC worked amazing :) . The only thing I suggest: I had two teenagers and one bedroom did not have a tv . So i brought a projector and two extra Roku's.

Very private place

This place was clean, quiet, and very private. Also very close to so many restaurants and fun things to do. We would love to stay here again! Side note: there were noisy bats in the chimney you could hear while in the living room but not the bedrooms.

Easy (near) Beach condo!

Ideal Getaway

Great location - minutes away from beautiful and quiet beach access and local amenities. The house was an ideal size for 4 - cute, comfortable and cozy. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Try it out!

I'd never heard of Vacasa before seeing this property posted on Airbnb, and am so glad i made the switch! 5-star service all around! The Sandy Bottom was a beautiful property, if you're looking for a great place to stay in a quiet OBX neighborhood and don't mind the (very short) drive to the beach access, this is the place! It was a great bargain and I hope this place is available next time I make a trip to the coast!
