Kitty Hawk Beach Bungalow

Come escape to a lovely neighborhood where Kitty Hawk Beach is only a bike ride away, and Albemarle Sound is even closer! Our cozy apartment has blessed family and friends for many years, but now we've opened it to new friends like you! We only use non-toxic cleaners and detergents (by Shaklee) and we provide Backpack Beach Chairs w/ built in coolers for your enjoyment, and a couple Beach Cruiser bikes too! (sorry, no pets please). We've been SO blessed with wonderful guests who seem very appreciative for our KHBB, our quiet neighborhood nearby wonderful Beach accesses, our central location for many OBX attractions, and all the amazing restaurants too! Oh, and you'll love strolling or biking down to see our stunning sunsets at nearby Windgrass Sound Access....never gets old. We hope you come and experience them for yourselves! 🏖️🏖️

The house was very clean and cozy, the host made sure to communicate very well and seemed very caring. Was a great place to stay and definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a little vacation.

The Kitty Hawk Bungalow is a gem of a place! I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay. The place is comfortable and clean. The location is perfect…close to everything. It’s situated in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I’ve been coming to the Outer Banks for over 50 years and can honestly attest that this place oozes the OBX vibe.The owners are fantastic! They are very organized and communicate responsively…no guesswork about the process. They are also very nice, friendly and knowledgeable about the Outer Banks.I highly recommend the Kitty Hawk Bungalow!

Great place nestled in guiet area. You can walk to the beach in 15mins or so. If you want to take take chairs, cooler and multiple items there is a small parking lot next to the Black Pelican for beach access.

Last minute get away

Excellent Stay

The host was incredible, and even better finding out she’s a newer host. This was our first stay in a VRBO and she made it a delight 10 out of 10 would stay here again.

Beautiful property. Cute, cozy and clean beach bungalow. Lynn is a phenomenal host! She is si sweet, responsive and hospitable. Easy beach access and close to grocery stores and other essentials. Good Wi-Fi, stocked kitchen and easy check-in/out procedures. Highly recommend!

The accommodations were nice and quiet neighborhood was quiet The water irrigation came on about 0700 to 0800 which made it difficult to load out vehicle We are early risers Would stay there again

Was a complaint about well pump loudness waking people up too early, so we set it until later am. But that doesn't work for all, sorry :-( )

This quaint suite was perfect for a quiet getaway that was close to all amenities of beach life within reach, yet quiet and peaceful. The bungalow had a nice little patio with chairs with plants that made for peaceful sitting that we used morning and evening. The hosts, Lynn and Bill communicated as soon as the reservation was made and provided upfront information, suggestions, local insights, and recommendations that made deciding where to go for food and fun easy. This place was perfect for the four of us and we hope to be back again and stay a little longer.

Beautiful place in an excellent location. Owners sent us a couple emails with all the helpful information on activities, restaurants and detailed check in process. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be using this rental if we ever are back in the area. :)

The place was super clean and exactly what we needed. It is in a such a great location that is close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We felt very welcomed by their gracious hospitality. 10/10 would stay again.

Lynn was a great host, very kind and communicated well. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The listing said entire home, but it's actually the bottom floor of a 2 story, shared with the host. We didnt mind and it was still a wonderful stay, but that is just something to keep in mind when booking. We would definitely book here again :)
