Downtown Wilmington home in the Historic District, near to Cape Fear River Walk

This classic, downtown house has the look and feel of a home built in the early 1900s, but all the updates of a home built just over a decade ago. Conveniently located in downtown Wilmington's historic district, and just a short walk to our booming central business district, this thoughtfully designed home has it all. A cozy, covered front porch is perfect for receiving and entertaining friends and neighbors, while the screened porch is better served for those best of friends that stay a little longer. Inside, the main floor is covered with wide plank oak hardwoods, and offers a spacious living room, breakfast area, half bath with laundry closet, and a tastefully designed kitchen featuring granite, stainless appliances, and an impressive bar area with glass display cabinets. The hardwood floors continue upstairs, where you'll find all three bedrooms including a generously appointed master suite. Home has been meticulously maintained and is ready for someone new to call it home.
Utilities included: electricity, heat, internet, air conditioning and water.

Loved the location of this property and how we were able to have our own space for us three adults during a girls trip. Would definitely stay here again. Had issues with the lock and they were quick to respond and react!

We absolutely loved our stay at this VRBO in Wilmington! The home was very clean, beautifully furnished, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, which made our stay easy and enjoyable.The location was fantastic—only four blocks from the Riverwalk, with wonderful shopping, restaurants, and plenty of things to see and do all within walking distance. It was the perfect location for enjoying everything Wilmington has to offer.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wilmington!

Everything was exceptional! Perfect location for my nephew’s wedding! The house was spotless, our host was very quick and responsive to our questions! Home was very well appointed in the kitchen and baths.

This was the perfect stay for us to visit downtown Wilmington! The house is clean, decorated and well maintained! It is walking distance to downtown and all of the various restaurants, coffee shops and shopping by the Riverwalk! Such a cool experience with all of the beautiful tree-lined streets and historical houses. Would highly recommend this house and Karen was awesome to chat with leading up to and during our stay! Thank you for sharing your home and we hope to be back again!

Enjoyed the stay but screen porch was very dirty. Also some hair on bathroom tub. The downstairs floor had sand in places.

This house is lovely inside and out! Spacious yet cozy and well furnished. Kitchen had everything we needed available. The front porch is amazing and we spent most of our time there, THe location if fabulous - very walkable to all of downtown, I highly recommend this property!

Our accommodations were outstanding as was our host, Karen. It’s obvious Karen takes a great deal of pride in her property and wants her guests to have the best experience possible. Our home was clean, well-stocked with essentials, and located in a very quiet neighborhood that was within a 14 minute walk to downtown Wilmington. We would definitely stay here again.

This was my third stay at this lovely home. We love being able to walk down to the boardwalk, the nearby playground and downtown. A beautiful area with so many historic homes. Karen is a lovely host and we hope to be able to come and stay again!

The house was beautiful, comfortable, well stocked and in a perfect location. It’s in walking distance to the Riverwalk and to Hidden Grounds. The front porch had an awesome sectional couch that was perfect for having our afternoon coffee. Our stay unfortunately was cut short due to bad storms but we will totally be back and staying here again :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Within walking distance to Downtown and the River Walk and an easy 15-minute drive to Wrightsville Beach, the location cannot be beat. Parking was never an issue, check in was simple and efficient and Karen always responds quickly to any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect for us. Close to the riverwalk, good food. Very clean and had everything we needed. It was a plus that they provided beach towels too!

Wilmington Weekend
