Gorgeous setting INSIDE Yosemite National Park by the Merced River! Expansive outdoor deck overlooking the water with a rustic mountain cabin feel. Large open living area with vaulted ceilings, a wood burning stove, full kitchen, Wifi, HDTV, gas bbq, washer/dryer, and much more. Walk down to the river and enjoy the jumping rock and swimming hole or just relax and enjoy nature. The Wawona Hotel and Pine Tree Market are also nearby for dinner and groceries!

Location was peaceful with views of the river. Close to the giant sequoias in Mariposa Grove. The Pine Tree Market was a short walk from the cabin. Being inside the national park saved so much time in entrance lines to the park. Cabin was roomy and well stocked. The host was immediately responsive to questions or issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We went on a family trip with 4 adults and 4 teenagers. The property was more spacious than we expected and had everything we needed. The views of the river and swimming /rock jumping area were perfect after long hikes in Yosemite. Wawona was such a cute and inviting area. Kip was very responsive. Would definitely recommend this property.

Such a wonderful spot, and no way to top that amazing view of the river with mountains in the background. Super comfy, and all very functional. We would be glad to stay here again!

great place! we would stay here again. The view of the deck is awesome and it's about 55 minutes to yosemite valley and 15 minutes to mariposa grove, and 15 minutes from the south entrance. Great location - host was amazing and responsive.

In a word: incredible! Yosemite was a bucket list destination for us, and we wanted to stay somewhere that was comfortable, scenic, and allowed for relatively easy ingress/egress. Riverside Retreat checked all those boxes and then some. The view of the river from the deck alone was breathtaking. The home was clean and cozy, the beds comfortable, the kitchen stocked with everything needed for cooking. Our group was three adults, but we would have had more than enough room even with a group twice as large. We absolutely will stay here on our next trip - which, hopefully, will be sooner rather than later!

Amazing place and terrific location

Cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The swimming hole and jumping rock were a hit with the kids and the house was just perfect.
