Amazing location and access to the beach. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes to downtown Oceanside. View of the harbor and ocean was so nice from the balcony. Plenty of space for my husband and I and our teenager.

Great Condo In A Fantastic Location

We stayed here while in town for the Ironman race. Accommodation was clean and as described. The location is great, with easy access to the beach, and is within walking distance of the pier, downtown and the harbor. We especially loved watching the sun go down from the balcony.

Get oceanside in Oceanside!

Nicely updated apartment in a beautifully landscaped complex. Enjoyed the great balcony view of the river running down to the ocean. Easy walking to beaches, coffee, restaurants and shops just across the river at the marina. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed It

Comfy bed, couch, nice space for 2. Loved having the balcony to view the ocean. Unit has been refreshed except bathroom & kitchen., and it’s time - paint flaking off kitchen counter tiles was annoying & low low shower water pressure, the only complaints. Grounds are beautiful & wonderful to have parking garage space.

Sad

We had a death in the family and only stayed 2 nights. Our host made no mention of compensation or coming back to make up our list nights. Not very compassionate.

Hi Penny, I did everything possible to help you. We opened up the remaining days so we could try to get another guest and return part of your money. We did not want to bother you and disturb you at such a bad time. When you told us what happened you expressed a desire to stay with us again. I am very sorry for your loss. Wishing you the best.

Good and Bad

The place was newly painted and carpeted. The view from the balcony was nice but it was too cold to sit out much. The kitchen was cramped but worked for 2 people. The tile counter in the kitchen is painted with wall paint. Paint keeps peeling off the tile and on to the pans, utensils and food. The bed is comfortable. There is no chest of drawers in the bedroom and all the storage is full of towels and sheets. There is only 1 shelf in the closet to store clothes. If you live out of a suit case it is OK, we were there a month. The front door sticks. The place is heated by 3 wall heaters, there is no thermostat. The bathroom stopper is broken and would not stay in place. The worst of all was that when you run water into the sink sewer gas comes out of the drain and you breath it. We asked to have both the stopper and the sewer gas fixed for weeks, but it never was. It’s a health issue.

Jeffrey, I am sorry you were unhappy, You never complained about the heat or that you were cold. We would have brought you some additional space heaters. And the heating method is the same method used in the entire complex all 550 condos. I wish we had known you were cold so we could have met your needs better. The entire complex has no thermostats. You never complained of any sewage smell and no other guest has told us that and I have been multiple times to the property and smelled nothing. We cleaned both sinks today ourselves and smelled no sewage gas. And you never mentioned a bad smell to me.We replaced the television in the living room for you that was not broken. You insisted it sounded wrong. The sound was fine in my opinion but we replaced it anyway to make sure you had a good experience with us. We fixed the door and the stopper right away. We have a lot of space for hanging clothes and probably could use more space for folded clothes And yes the kitchen is small but the enire condo is only 760sq.feet. We also have fixed the peeling paint on the countertop.

Good

Overall good. Kitchen could have a few more items. Kitchen counter was peeling paint or something. Shower hot water knob did not work very well, definitely needs to be fixed. When reported it, did not receive a response. Get these things fixed and would give 5 stars. Bed and Pillows were comfy.

Condo G20-an excellent property

The only problem we saw was that the mattress was way to soft, to the point of drowning in it. We would prefer a much firmer mattress. Also don't understand the 200+ cleaning fee. I can see a deposit, but if the property is left in good shape routine cleaning should be part of the cost of doing business. Next time I will contact the property owner directly and not use VRBO.
