I provide your essentials to start your vacation worry free.
All linens, Bath towels, wash cloths, dog towels, paper towels, trash bags, Dish soap, shampoo, conditioner and dog shampoo (dog shampoo located in outdoor shower) I do not offer beach towels.

This cottage belonged to my grandmother and I have many memories sitting around her red kitchen table. I hope you and your loved ones create fun and forever lasting memories around that same red kitchen table when you stay at Time And Tide.

We love dogs and know that taking them along on vacation is a must sometimes. I allow one dog with a $75 non refundable charge .I sometimes make exceptions for an additional smaller dog, but please ask first . PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE PET FEE IN YOUR RESERVATIONS.

Our yard is not fenced but we have plenty of room to walk in the back yard . If they've played at the beach, I have provided special towels for your dog to dry them after they're rinsed off from the hose we provide on the deck. Please no dogs on the furniture and beds and PLEASE clean up after your dog in the yard.. Thank you for loving your doggies and we hope they have a great time too. Feel free to ask any questions about our policy. ALSO A NATURE TRAIL THAT I HAVE PICTURED BOTH IN MY PHOTOS.

Great stay in a fun place

Loved all of the midcentury touches in this adorable close-to-many things cottage! Lots of amenities for the dogs too. Owner very communicative- highly recommend!

Awesome Cottage!!!

We had a very fun stay at this cute and charming cottage when visiting OBX for a wedding in October. The listing is very accurate and the host was fantastic!! Super clean cottage and a wonderful experience.

Great Location!

The cottage was in a convenient location for getting around the OBX! The host was an excellent resource for things to do around the area, which made our stay that much better. Communication was almost immediate, and the suggestions were spot-on. We will be back at some point for sure!

Lovey cozy little getaway

We absolutely loved the house. Had everything we needed to feel at home for a few days. I would love to come back and rent from Holli again. We truly felt home away from home.

Cozy and Quaint

My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway weekend and this was the perfect place. It is close to everything we needed but tucked away enough to feel very private. Holli was exceptional.

Great place

Host was so nice and accommodating. Even changed our reservation due to a family issue and a tropical storm. The house is lovely and very centrally located. Decor is chic and cozy. We definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect beach getaway

Holli’s cottage was so warm and welcoming! The location is just a short hop to very convenient public beach parking. She has the most thoughtful accommodations to be able to spend vacay with your dog as well! She was easy to reach if needed and gave wonderful recommendations for local favorite restaurants/breweries. Our stay couldn’t have been better!

Cozy beach cottage

We had a great time here. Close to everything. We really enjoyed the private deck and firepit. The house was very well appointed, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I cannot say enough nice things about this little cottage. We wish our stay was longer.

Very nice place

The cottage was very clean, nicely furnished, and well-appointed (beds, linens, towels, kitchen, etc.). The only drawback for us was the passing vehicle noise as the cottage is situated just a few yards from a busy road. This apparently has not been an issue for majority of guests so maybe just us. Host(s) were great communicators and have done everything "within their power" to provide a wonderful stay.

Cute cottage

Lovely vintage cottage with little touches that make you enjoy the stay. Like a dark washcloth that says Makeup!, paper cups in bathroom and coffee pods, sugar and creamers. Everything you need. One suggestion, driveway is on a curve and easy to miss! May want to slow way down at you pass 830 mailbox as 838 is coming soon!

Kitty Hawk Getaway

The property was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The location was good for us as it was near a trail we could walk our dog. It is about a mile from beach and other activities. You do have to be careful pulling out with your car especially turning left because of the curve of the road. Having said that, we were impressed with all amenities that were provided from a filtered water pitcher in refrigerator, Kuerig, and even qtips in bathroom. The house is very cozy and well decorated. This is our favorite place so far we have stayed through VRBO.

Charming Cottage

Our stay at Time and Tide was wonderful. This quaint cottage provided all the comforts of home and was perfectly located. We loved having morning coffee on the deck and we were able to easily explore all the Outer Banks has to offer from our home away from home in Kitty Hawk. We prepared meals using the grill and well equipped kitchen and slept soundly each night on the the comfortable beds. This vacation rental also included everything we needed to enjoy a day at the beach. They provide beach chairs, umbrella, cooler. The owners are local and respond quickly. If you are looking for a place to stay while vacationing in the Outer Banks, you can't go wrong with Time and Tide.

Cute and Cozy

This home was cute and cozy for our short getaway! A lot of thought was put into this vaycation home in terms of everything you needed to be comfortable. We loved the pet amenities provided that made it easy to travel with our pup! The only thing to be careful with is getting in and out of the driveway. The house is located on a road where there are blind spots to get onto the main road, and cars go well above the speeding limit! I know that is not the owners fault, but the city should change something about this.

Comfy Throwback in Kitty Hawk

First, the owners were accommodating and helpful before I ever arrived at the property and even more so during my stay. Walked in the door and had a welcome sign and snacks and brochures on the area. I have never been to Kitty Hawk. If you love to cook, the gas range is perfect and the fully-stocked kitchen has about everything you need to prepare any meal or try a new recipe. This place is perfect for a single person or a couple's retreat. Furnishings are stylish and new, but you still get the 1950s feel they were going for. Minutes from the beach, 1hr 15 minutes from Cape Hatteras. Outside deck and wash area are ample for cleaning up after the beach. Call Bryan & Holli and they will bring you more firewood for the firepit during your stay. On a personal note, I truly needed to relax and forget about life for a while and this spot fit the bill to a "T". I will be going back to this property first opportunity I get...

Perfect for our family

The cottage was just as listed... adorable and one of the most clean rentals I have stayed in. It's very close to everything and beach access is right up the road. You can tell that the owners have put a lot of care into every detail.

Great cottage at the beach

The cottage was clean, tidy and welcoming! It had everything we needed for the weekend! Holli is a great host and we will definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Kitty Hawk!

I've lived on the Outer Banks all my life. I'm actually an 8th generation Outer Banker! My husband , Bryan is from Bethesda MD. we have a son, Perry that we adore and he goes to NC State.. Go Wolfpack!!
I have many cherished childhood memories here. Family meals at her table, playing with my cousins, many sleepovers and just time spent with her. My hope is that you and your family create your own new memories around my grandmother's kitchen table and return again and again to Time and Tide Cottage.

We loooove dogs and we know you do too, but some dogs react differently to new surroundings so we would ask that you please crate your dog when you are not there. Our yard is not fenced but we have plenty of room to walk in the back yard and a dog park a five minute walk away if they need to run and play. I have provided special towels for your dog to dry them off after they're rinsed off from the hose we provide on the deck.Please no dogs on the furniture and beds PLEASE. Kitty Hawk is centrally located for all your sightseeing and beach going needs.
Time and Tide Cottage was my grandmother's home built in '52. My husband and I have renovated it back to where it should be, a place of joy, rest and contentment. I know my grandmother would be proud.
