The grounds and backyard feature gorgeous landscaping, water features, a pool house and a PRIVATE POOL. Designed to be your retreat from the world if you'd like and your launch point to Pensacola Bay, Pensacola Beach, the bustling downtown, and the local brewery/coffee/wine/restaurant scene. 2 Roku TVs too!

What's on the Main Floor? (Living/Dining Areas, Kitchen, Coffee Bar, and 1 Bathroom)

1. Foyer/Entry Room: We hope you enjoy the vibrant welcome as you enter our home. It's a large space that gives you plenty of room to bring in and stage your bags upon arrival. Our favorite part is the Pirate painting!

2. Kitchen: You can enjoy cooking your own meals while staying here. We have all of the tools needed - an oven/cooktop with baking sheets, cookware, utensils, dishes, drinkware, etc, are all made available for you. We also have a microwave, toaster, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. The refrigerator has a filtered water and ice dispenser and the kitchen island provides additional seating. Publix is around the corner from us so you can easily get all of your groceries.

3. Bathroom: Toilet, sink, and clawfoot tub. Watch out for the Octopus while you're bathing!

4. Living Room: Sit back and relax in our large Victorian-vibe living room that has comfy seating, high 12 ft ceilings, beautiful chandeliers, and a bar area. The dedicated desk is the perfect spot for remote work where you can look for the special details in the fun, animal characters wallpaper.

5. Dining Room: Perfectly situated adjacent to the kitchen and living room, there's a pass-through (with shelving and a wine rack) to the kitchen.

6. Coffee Bar: Located off of the kitchen in its own nook, we have a great coffee bar that also features a charging station for your phones and devices. We LOVE coffee. Our coffee bar features a Keurig system with drip/k-cup options, a Nespresso for making those espresso drinks, a french press, and an Aeroccino milk frother (the easiest way to froth milk!). Mugs included too!

7. Tiki Room: This is the place to relax and chill while enjoying the large Roku TV. The TV is in guest mode making it easy for you to sign into any of your favorite streaming apps. We also have it connected to a Sony soundbar with a subwoofer. This room has a queen sleeper sofa and another huge couch that is one of the most comfy we've ever sat on. A separate split unit AC/heater allows you to independently control the temperate in this room. Be Savvy and Drink Rum is the motto on our sign in this room and from here, you can access the backyard paradise.

What's Upstairs? (3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Laundry Room, Reading Room)

1. The Captain's Quarters: This large master bedroom features a king bed with a CertiPUR memory foam mattress (our favorite), a Roku TV, a chaise lounge, storage bench, dressers, and built-ins for storage and hanging up your clothes. The side tables each have lamps with USB charging capability and there's a private door to a covered front porch complete with seating for two. The attached private bathroom has an oversize claw foot tub (perfect for relaxing/soaking), separate shower, toilet, dual sinks and plenty of lighting and outlets.

2. The Pirate Room: The pirate room has a full bed with a CertiPUR memory foam mattress, an additional twin bunk bed, a chair with table, and a cozy seating/relaxing area under the bunk bed. A single closet and ample shelving gives you a place to store clothes and necessities during your stay. Look for the fun decor and books!

3. The Mermaid Room: This large bedroom features a queen bed with a CertiPUR memory foam mattress, a chair and ottoman, a closet, and direct access to a full bathroom (separately locked door for privacy). The attached bathroom also has a separate door to the hallway. Each side table also has a fun lamp that makes cool designs on the wall at night!

4. Laundry Room: We have a full laundry room with side by side washer and dryer units. There's storage/shelving and pods for your use.

5. The Reading Room: This enclosed room/back porch is at the back of the home at the end of the upstairs hallway. Separately climate controlled and a purposely simple and quiet space for reading, relaxing, yoga, etc. Kids can have fun in the tent and play with the large floor checker board game.



How about Outdoor Space?

1. Front Porch: Enjoy seating for 6 on our comfy patio furniture (2 benches, 2 chairs) that includes a table. We love sitting out here and enjoying a coffee on a quiet mornings or evenings and watching passers-by, neighbors walking dogs, etc.

2. Gardens: Take a stroll within our walled yard and enjoy the lush landscaping, large water fountain feature, and paver/brick path. The wall around the front/side yard has built in lighting that turns on in the evening.

3. The Backyard: This area was made for entertaining! We have a picnic table eating area, a sectional with ottoman, a large pillowed egg chair, Adirondack chairs, and lounges. There's a propane gas grill with a prep table next to it. Grill utensils are on hand, too. The overhead hanging lights automatically turn on at night and help create a magical space. There is a pool house with casual seating inside and a foosball table if you're looking for a little competitive sport time during your vacation. :)

4. The POOL: Take a dip and enjoy the pool on a hot summer day! No diving, please!

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
This is Florida. On our densely vegetated property, you'll see bugs, birds, frogs, lizards, and butterflies. There are also mosquitoes. You'll hear the chorus of frogs outside at night in the summer. We have large trees that provide great shade. You'll see twigs and leaves around too after rains/storms. We've provided an outdoor broom with dustpan and a small brush to clean up patio furniture if needed.
It also gets HOT in the summer. Our two central AC units in the home help keep the home comfortable in the summer, but definitely enjoy the pool to cool off when outside. Drink lots of water and use sunscreen often. We also have tower fans in each bedroom for additional cooling!

Parking is a breeze. There's a long gravel driveway area on the west side of the home that fits multiple vehicles and even trailers or boats. There's also a brick paver driveway directly in front of the house. Please do not use or block our neighbor's driveway or street.

The 17th Ave Boat Launch is less than a mile away. Bring the boat, park it at our property, then launch it close by and enjoy!

Urban vibe, historic area. Historic East Hill is a special area near downtown Pensacola, Bayou Texar, and Pensacola Bay Bridge. Your whole group will enjoy easy access to the best that Pensacola has to offer. If you want to be close to the action downtown on S Palafox or Seville Square, enjoy a quiet stroll through historic neighborhoods and see some gorgeous/unique homes, be a quick drive to Pensacola Beach or the Bay, or just hang out poolside in the sun all day, you'll love it here. Walk or ride to small businesses nearby such as fashion boutiques, gift shops, restaurants, great breakfast spots, and some of our favorite coffee shops around! You'll hear trains occasionally too. It's a port town so there's nice hustle and bustle occasionally.
