A Note About Beach Access:

If you're unfamiliar with the north end of North Topsail Beach, please note that this area experiences ongoing beach erosion, which can limit direct beach access from some buildings in the Topsail Reef complex.

While access can be affected, it shouldn't be a deterrent, there are 8 buildings in the community, and even if one set of stairs is closed, others may still be usable. Public beach access points are also available to the north and south, though they may require a short drive.

That said, one of the most incredible parts of staying here is how close the ocean gets at higher tides, offering stunning views and a unique, up-close beach experience you won’t find elsewhere on the island.

For those who prefer a public beach access point, Beach Access #1 is just a mile south (about a 3-minute drive) and offers free parking. There’s also another access point just north of Building 1.

🚫 Please note: Sandbags have been placed along parts of the shore to help prevent further erosion. For your safety and in compliance with local regulations, walking on them is prohibited and strictly enforced.
