Nestled under the Oaks (and where she gets her name Four Oaks), this Cottage is sure to impress and provide comfort, rest and relaxation during your stay. Sleeps 6 comfortably but can accomodate 8 via the sleeper sofa in the Family Room. It's time to turn your phone to VACA-mode and enjoy bicycle riding through town or on the nearby Spanish Moss Trail.Spend the day at Pigeon Point Park and don't forget to soak up the evening sky on the dock at Pigeon Point Boat Landing. Such a cute house!!

This house was perfect for our girls weekend. Location was great too! Close to everything! A lot of thoughtful things put into stocking & decorating the home. We would definitely stay there again!!

A Hidden Gem

The neighborhood is in decline, but the house is perfect. It's convenient to everything and was very clean and comfortable. After a busy day of activities, it was nice to come back to a quiet place to relax. We had a great week!

Awesome place to stay

This cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. The amenities were thoughtful, generous and thorough! From the snacks to the full size shampoo and conditioner this place had it all! Very convenient to downtown Beaufort but in a quiet residential area. Will definitely stay here again!

Family reunion

The property was easy to locate. Well lit on arrival. It was fairly clean, with snacks and water provided. The neighborhood was not the best, with nearby dogs barking all night. I mentioned this to the manager and it did seem better after my message.

Mermaid Cottage stay

We were in Beaufort for my sons graduation from Parris Island. We rented the Mermaid Cottage as ut was listed to sleep 7. We thought more family members would be coming, but it was just me and my other children. The Cottage was fantastic for what we beeded and close to everything. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything you need!

Four Oaks was fully stocked and perfect for gatherings with family/friends. It was completely worth it and we would happily stay there again.

Family adventure

This location is perfect for a family vacation exploring the coast. We spent a day in Beaufort, Charleston and Savannah. The house comfortably fit four adults. The kitchen and living space had a great flow and plenty of space for playing board games. Location was easy to get to main roads and close to shops. Thanks for the memories!

Great Place

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and nice. We had difficulties getting in, but the owner/manager answered the phone and was able to help up out. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Great vacation stay for family visiting Beaufort- wish we could have stayed longer!

The home was easy to find and access and beautifully decorated. All beds were comfortable and the extra touches (snacks, Hunting Island pass, backyard fire pit) just made us want to stay longer. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing property! The cleanliness, decore, layout, thoughtfulness with snacks, candies, good quality linen, paper towels, toilet tissue, candles, games…. We stayed at Four Oaks for my son’s Boot Camp graduation from Parris Island. The check-in process was easy and great. Everything was clean and they even had a snack basket for us which was great since got in late at night. Would definitely stay again if ever in that area.

Great Rental

As always, Mermaid Cottage properties are wonderful to stay at! Four Oaks was very clean, I received a quick response if needed, and the property was close to downtown. The extra amenities (beach pass and beach accessories) are a great bonus. My family enjoyed the beach 3 days during our stay. We would definitely stay here again. :)

Cozy cottage

This cozy cottage was perfect for our family vacation! We stayed here and enjoyed Beaufort, Charleston, and Savannah. The house was impeccably clean and well-appointed. Absolutely perfect!

Great rental!

What a cute place to stay. Very clean, decorated adorably and you've thought of everything including supplies for s'mores. I'd highly recommend and we will be back. Close to town although we drove every time.
