I have worked with Mermaid Cottage as a customer, as a colleague, and now helping my family with their visit to Beaufort. My brother in law and his wife, and my sister in law and her husband absolutely loved SC Retreat. It worked perfectly for them. John and Angela were wonderful (as always!) helping me get them all setup. My sister in law isn't tech-savvy so they included me in on the notifications, emails, texts etc so that I could help my family with the rental process. I am a Realtor and whenever I have clients coming to town I always connect them with Mermaid Cottage. John and Angela never disappoint, and I can't thank them enough for their attention to detail, their professionalism, their communication, and all they do to make my life easy.

Stay at Beaufort's best

Wonderful owner, went out of his way to make sure this VRBO was exceptional. Adorable place, clean in a quiet neighborhood. This place was central in location for our visits to Charleston, Savannah, Hilton Head and Hunting State Park south beach. Loved the park down the street too. Beaufort is a charming town. One of the best VRBO I have ever stayed at. You won't be disappointed. Thank you for sharing your home.

Quiet Retreat

What a great location. Able to spend time in Beaufort, Hunting Beach, Savannah and come back to a wonderful home to relax and hang out together. The screen porch was great too with the fan! Kept the bugs away while we were able to play cards and hangout together. Such a great home and location!

This house was everything they said it was. The home was extremely clean! Quiet neighborhood. We were visiting from Pennsylvania for a Marine graduation. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Super Clean

My husband, myself, and our 4 children stay in this gem! The pictures online dont do this house any justice! Its super convenient to everything in Beaufort and clean! The backyard space was great! The house is small but the layout worked for 6 people. Our famiky would definitely stay here again if we travel back to Baeufort. layout works for 6 people

Low Country Delight

We spent a month at Mermaid Cottage and enjoyed every moment. The location in Pigeon Point is perfect with a beautiful park just a block away for sunset marsh views. Plus several other parks in easy walking distance and downtown just a mile away. The cottage had everything we needed. Each time we said, “I wonder if they have…” We found it. Clean and updated with a big yard and in a quiet neighborhood.

Boot camp Graduation

This home was absolutely perfect for our family celebrating our new Marine! Sitting around the fire pit and listening to all of his boot camp stories was the perfect atmosphere. We also got some amazing photos in front of the gorgeous tree in the back yard. We are already discussing when we can go back to try out some local fishing and is where we plan to stay!
