***THIS HOME IS ON A PRIVATE LAKE THAT IS CURRENTLY DRAINED FOR URGENT GATE VALVE REPAIRS. LAKE WILL NOT BE USABLE FROM July 2026 - May 2027.***
If you are looking for fresh air, mountain streams, fresh well water, a respite, and some stress-free living, you have found it! Romantic get-a-way, girl's retreat, guys fishing trip, you name it! This is a one-story home in a private, gated community with a private dock. This cabin is on pristine lake water fed by 5 streams. 2 kayaks, 2 canoes, and 2 paddle boards are available. Plenty of fishing for large-mouth bass! Fireplace in the main living area and central air and heat throughout the home. Two full bathrooms; one with a soaking tub. Hot tub just outside the master bedroom on the deck overlooking the lake. Fully equipped kitchen. Fire pit area with seating for 4-6. Table seating area for 4 and rocking chairs on wrap-around, screened sundeck overlooking the lake. Large dining table for 8 inside the home. Our home has recently been updated with new rugs, linens, furniture, paint, and decor. The property is OWNER managed and has been a popular and desirable rental for 6 years! It is freshly sanitized and ready for your arrival!

All, and includes the use of 2 kayaks, 2 canoes, 2 paddle boards, life jackets, and hot tub. Private gate to community accessible with key card. Jon boat by request.
Other things to note
AT&T Wi fi, and Roku. Phone service is very good if you CONNECT your phone to WIFI for service.
Wildlife includes ducks, geese, deer, and large turtles.
Fabulous home-cooking restaurant 10 minutes. Fly fishing shop 10 minutes.
The "Mall" (Dollar General) 10 minutes.
Non-Refundable Pet Fee of $200 and pets must be pre-approved by the owner. Pet Fee is collected when you receive check-in information (2 days prior to arrival).

Very clean. Host communicated about area and local restaurants that were very good! Lil lake was a fishing hot spot! Loved this lil spot!

Very nice property. We arrived on a Tuesday and left on a Saturday. The community and lake are extremely quiet and peaceful. The house is spotless. The outside trees were dropping little tiny things which was a mess but just wear slides or something to use the hottub. This is a very welcoming place to stay and enjoy. We will be back hopefully in the fall.

So peaceful! So relaxing! Very clean and the host was awesome! Had everything easy for us to get to! Had a great time fishing and watching the grand child!Loved rocking on the porch and watching the rain come down in the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed! Great get a way from a rough month!

Great property, great location! Strongly recommend it!
The location was amazing, we had young children and a German Shepperd with us, and they all loved swimming in the lake and kayaking and paddle boarding!

This is a very sweet spot. We had a great time, even though it rained most of the time we were there. We had the opportunity to use the canoe a few times even with the rain, and we also enjoyed the fire pit one night. We would definitely book again!

Wonderful lake house
We had a great stay. Our children loved the fire pit and the lake toys. We also got to enjoy nearby rafting and fly fishing!

Great place!
This house is great. We really enjoyed our time there. House was comfortable and well stocked kitchen. Loved the views from the screen in deck.

Relaxing lake trip

Great mountain getaway
This was our first trip staying in a mountain cabin and it was everything and more. It had everything we needed and the host went above and beyond.

Great quiet spot
We were looking to get away but wanted to stay away from crowds. This was the perfect spot. Lots to do and the white water rafting was awesome!

My mother and I along with our two dogs stayed three nights in this beautiful lake cabin. The kitchen has very nice cookware and dishes to use. The view of the lake was absolutely breathtaking, especially with the fall foliage. The neighborhood was very peaceful and we enjoyed our time very much. We visited the state park Oconee and did a short hike as well as went into town, called Walhalla and did some shopping and had great cheesesteaks.

Father son fishing/rafting getaway
Great little lakeside cabin was an easy drive to the river for rafting and fly fishing. Owner was super nice and responsive to any of our needs. Would definitely go back!

This is a very private retreat if you are looking for fresh air, mountain streams, fresh well water, a respite, and some stress-free living, you have found it! Romantic get-a-way, girl's retreat, guys fishing trip, you name it! This is a one-story home with a private dock. This cabin is on pristine lake water fed by 5 streams. 2 kayaks, 2 canoes, and 2 paddle boards are available. Plenty of fishing for wide-mouth bass! Fireplace in the main living area and central air and heat throughout the home. Two full bathrooms; one with a soaking tub. Spa just outside the master bedroom on the deck overlooking the lake. Fully equipped kitchen. Fire pit area with seating for 4. Table seating area for 4 and rocking chairs on wrap-around, screened sundeck overlooking the lake. Large dining table for 8 inside the home. Our home has recently been updated with new rugs, linens, furniture, paint, and decor. The property is OWNER managed and has been a popular and desirable rental for 6 years! It is freshly sanitized and ready for your arrival!
