Private island retreat with a garden view in an upscale Hilo neighborhood. Close to downtown, delicious restraunts, and fun farmers markets. This unit is a completely separate room that has a private entrance and private bathroom. Plus a covered parking spot to help you escape the tropical rains ;). There are no outdoor seating areas.

What a great place to stay! The hosts were friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and had all we needed, and it was so very quiet and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Amazing Stay

We had a lovely stay at this wonderful place. Conveniently located within a few minutes of downtown Hilo, yet evenings are very peaceful! We highly recommended staying here.

Host provided great communication and assistance. Rental is a unique and very clean unit and is located within a nice, somewhat secluded neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Wonderful stay

We had a great quick trip in Hilo and loved this space! Communication was wonderful and location was just a quick trip to town and lots of waterfalls!

We loved this stay. Every detail of the room was perfect. Location was great for access to Hilo, Akaka Falls, Mauna Kea and Volcanoes National Park. The host was welcoming and had a great list of restaurants and things to do. Not sure if we will be lucky enough to return to Hilo in the future, but we would absolutely stay here again if we do.

I’m not sure I can completely express how much staying here meant to us. This unit helped make our trip as wonderful as it could possibly be. The unit is bright and thoughtfully and beautifully designed and decorated. It is surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful flowers on the property, and it was neat and clean as can be.The owners are lovely and were so welcoming and helpful, especially with information and suggestions about seeing the current eruption at Kilauea. The check in and check out were easy and seamless.We had a wonderful visit to the Hilo side and this unit was a perfect place to rest and recharge from the days adventures. Thank you so much!

Great Location

My wife and I both really enjoyed our stay here. The room was both private and convenient in a beautiful neighborhood. Hannah( the host) met us at check in and was friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

Expedia was the problem for the check-in process. If your travels take you to Hilo, this is the place to stay. It’s on quite possibly the most beautiful neighborhood in Hilo. Beautiful setting and great hosts. There is quite a bit of coqui frogs and it sounds like a frogpocalyose. Lol but after the first night, we slept through it. Truly awesome lodging option! Brand new rooms. So nice. 10+ AAA+

Jungle oasis

Quiet, end of the road stay, only minutes from downtown Hilo, within earshot of waterfalls. Clean room, nice shower, excellent hosts…we will stay again when in town.
