Perfect Mountain Getaway

Great little mountain cabin and close to all the skiing/snow tubing. The inside is modern and perfect for a no frills escape. Nestled on a mountainside, the fire pit and stream were wonderful to sit by and relax. Will def be back for another trip to the mountains.

Let there be peace!

This place is out away from all the hubbub but not too far from where you want to go. Beautiful drive out through scenic Valley Crucis. Up a gravel road/trail and the cabin is perfectly set up off the road /trail. Extremely peaceful!!

Anniversary getaway

Little cabin in the Woods

Quaint cabin, perfect for a couple (in our case a plus one teen). Wonderfully appointed with everything g you need to be comfy and cozy! Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing Getaway

We loved the experience. There was nature, peace, tranquility, privacy and serenity. My fiancé and I had all the amenities that we needed for an amazing getaway. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Private and Quiet

We enjoyed the secluded location. The use of space was well done. Bad weather kept us from using the outside amenities unfortunately.

Perfect little cabin

The cabin was perfect. We needed something close to App so we could move our son out of his dorm and this location worked great. We only spent one night and didn’t have an opportunity to use the fire pit or grill. The bed was super comfy and everything was nice and clean. Would absolutely stay here again.

Winter Break Getaway

This mountain bungalow was the perfect place to escape the city and relax with my family of 3. My daughter (age 4) loved exploring the surrounding wilderness, especially the creek. The property was very well designed and had everything needed for an enjoyable stay.

Perfect place for a quick getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this bungalow. Very clean, affordable, private, and a short 15 minute drive to App State and downtown Boone. Exactly as pictured and loved the updated decor and the old barn on the property. Will definitely keep in mind for our next trip to Boone. Thank you!

Cool Mountain Stay

We needed a day or two out of the summer heat and this quaint little mountain house was the perfect place for our retreat. The house is small but was all we needed. Loved the quiet neighborhood as well. Neighbors walked their dogs past the house in the morning and waved. Super friendly place. Convenient to Valle Crucis and Banner Elk.

Love this place

We love this little cottage. It is close to Boone but tucked away so you feel like you are away from the city and this allows you to truly relax. Our little one still sleeps in a pack and play so we put him in the hallway and our older child slept on the pull out bed which he loved.
