Riverfront🏕A-Frame/HOT TUB/Fire Pit! FAST Wifi

Enjoy the beautiful country scenery on the drive down to this A-frame cabin. As you get near, you approach a small bridge that crosses the river, followed by a few minutes of gravel road. The A-frame is located on a nice park-like 1 acre lot right on the river!

The space:

As you come in you will see one bedroom to the left with 1 king bed on main floor and bathroom to the right. You enter an open space area with cathedral ceiling where you'll see a fully equipped kitchen a large sectional/living room area and dining area. Large windows allow you to enjoy a beautiful view of the river. Upstairs you will find a 1 queen bed.
Large Deck outside is great for entertaining, while the large yard is great for games!

Other things to note:

By accepting your reservation, you accept to use hot tub at your own risk. Please follow posted rules.

Use phone GPS for directions. Use main roads I-81 to Route 11 to Zion Church Rd

Use sandals or water shoes. It is hard to walk on the pebbles in the river without it.

Up to 2 well-behaved, house-trained dogs allowed, please include in your reservation when booking.
No Pets Allowed on furniture. Pet must be on tick/flea prevention medication.

Caution with children due to stairs, sharp knives/kitchen appliances and no crib available.

Enjoy the river at your own risk. Children/pets should not be left unattended.

We spray the house regularly for bugs, however, there are certain bugs common in the area. Please do not leave windows or doors open, specially at night. Thank you.

Great location and fun cabin

Everything was great! The only downside was the beds were a little to soft and hurt my husbands back but not enough to remove any stars!

Snowy getaway

This getaway was excellent! The cabin is in the cut as to be expected but not difficult to fine and a good comfortable distance from town and to neighboring homes. The bridge to the trail is a bit narrow but is solid structurally. The cabin is exactly as advertised. Very modern and clean, comfortable beds s furniture, the hot tub was amazing and very clean. Kitchen, bathroom and laundry was well stocked and maintained as advertised. The water does as the sulfur smell, I believe this can be improved with well water tablets (I may be mistaken) overall it isn’t a dealbreaker. The view from the balcony is gorgeous and the sound of the river is so soothing. I would definitely recommend this place and would return again! Thank you for such great comfort and friendliness with this getaway!

Short getaway

My husband and I booked this last minute. Cell service is very spotty in the area so download the directions beforehand. We arrived late evening and it was quite dark but had no difficulty finding the place. Entrance was simple, house was clean. We could not appreciate the beauty and peace until the morning. You can hear the babbling water from the deck. Lots of song birds And woodpeckers. Inside, the kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. TV was easy to use. I would recommend bringing extra towels. Overall it is a very nice peaceful place to stay.

Great easy stay

Everything was very clean, in order, the hot tub was easy to use, and everything matched the description. It was a great experience overall. Great location, good quality of appliances and very convenient for hiking, visiting a couple of towns nearby, and overall having a great relaxing time, The only minor thing to note is the slight smell of sulfur in the tap water, but we were told beforehand (so, not an issue).

Better than the pictures!!

The house was pristine, clean, and cozy! The beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was amazing! The view from the porch was fantastic and tubing down the river was lots of fun! Highly recommended.

Peaceful

Our family enjoyed the quiet. The river was low but beautiful as always. There was very little traffic in the area which was wonderful! Everything we needed within 30mins was great!

Few disappointments but still enjoyed our stay

The deck needs to be replaced and we were not supplied enough bath towels and the grill was dirty but overall we still enjoyed our stay. I left behind a bag of clothes and Roberto was kind enough to mail them back to me at his expense.

Nice place on the river

We enjoyed having the River in the back yard. Great location of river to relax and fish. House has everything you could need if you want to get away and relax. Will definitely look for this place again if we take this trip again.

Lovely Oasis!

We arrived at night and it was so dark but with the help of the house lights we were able to enter in with no problem. In the morning we woke up to a surprise view of the lake through the windows! We were not expecting that! Yes, the water smells but just make sure you bring extra bottled water and you will be fine. There is a very small bright you will have to cross so just be sure you drive careful and plan to stay at cabin for your trip. Commuting in and out of town can be a whole day trip. Those are just some tips for staying here but you will LOVE IT!!!! BOOK NOW!!!

Beautiful location

The house is really cozy. The hot tub and the barbecue grill work perfectly. My family loved having access to the large front yard which is well-maintained in addition to exploring the riverbanks.. outdoor deck is indeed of repair. The second floor bedroom loft was very comfortable, but be aware of a steep staircase. The bathroom on the main floor was nicely renovated. the kitchen had everything you need except a dishwasher… the reason why I give three stars for the location is the bridge leading to the homesite... there’s only one way to access the homesite in the bridge is a single lane cement slab that is barely higher than the surface of the water, and it is prone to flood and become unpassable several times per year. I think a general warning about that bridge should be part of this homes advertisement…

The perfect relaxing getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at the A-Frame! The property was exactly what we expected. Spent nights at the fire pit and in the hot tub. Spent days hiking and spending time down by the stream/river. Our host was communicative and quick to respond with questions we had. The area is remote so it took some getting used to being in such solitude, but it was the quiet, relaxing vacation we needed so it was wonderful!

What a gem!

This property was a wonderful getaway for our family of four (and dog)! The cabin is clean and very well appointed. We appreciated having basics like soap/toiletries, some bottled water, laundry detergent, and plenty of towels. The hot tub is large and was lovely to hang out in and star gaze at night. The river was warm and I loved that you could hear flowing water from the deck. Definitely bring water shoes, as it's rocky (the entire Shenandoah is like this). We had a wonderful time, and would love to come back some time in the future!

The quiet place to away!

I stayed with my family (husband and parents). Everyone loved the place at first sight. A cozy lovely home in a quiet small town. Well-equipped. Loved to do campfire, jacuzzi, and fishing in the nearby fresh-water.
