Wonderful vintage home in an epic location!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great place to stay. The location was first rate, the house was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the check in was smooth. Would recommend.

This beautiful home steps from the water was a great place for our family vacation! More relatives stayed right across the street at the Green Gables inn, and it was convenient to be all together. The home is historic and well cared for, and although we wished the second bedroom bathtub had been in working order, we were overall very comfortable.

We adored the house. The location and views were spectacular. It accommodated our family of four beautifully - everyone had privacy, access to bathrooms, and room to enjoy themselves. We appreciated that the rules for the house were few and very reasonable. Mostly, we loved looking out the windows at the water and the easy access to waterfront and the town. We plan to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect location and gorgeous views. Parking was not a problem ( we had 4 cars) as street parking was very easy. Thank you for sharing your home!

The location was truly incredible. Could not have asked for a better location. The house was extremely clean. Our host could not have been more accommodating, friendly and provided excellent communication. We will absolutely rebook this house the next time we are in the area.

The house is big enough for 8-10 people. Plenty of room. It is 1 house up from the bay and you have good bay views from the house. There is a wonderful walking/biking path along the bay that stretches for miles. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of dishes, utensils, and cooking accessories. You can easily walk to town to enjoy the aquarium or all the cafes and restaurants. You can walk to the local grocery or just drive 5 minutes to Trader Joe’s or Safeway. Carmel is about a 20 - 30 minute drive away. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

This rental is one of the best places to come and relax. The view from the corner window is amazing.This is our 2nd visit and we will come again. It is centrally located, peaceful, very well equiped and the owner is very sweet and accomodating.

This house was perfect for us. Fantastic location. We were in town for car week (for the first time) and were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to get around from this location. Then, when we were done for the day, it was nice to get back to a quiet, comfortable house. The owner communicated very well. We ate most meals at the house. The kitchen was very well equipped and we used the grill several nights. The dishwasher worked great. All bathrooms had plenty of towels and functioned well. It’s an older house, but has been nicely updated. We hope to be back next year and will definitely stay here again.

This place is absolutely adorable and awesome! Fantastic views of the bay, easy walking from the house to Lover's Point in one direction and the Monterey Bay Aquarium in the other, with good coffee and food options in between. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the overall feel of the house was homey and cheerful! The host is very friendly, communicative and easy to reach. Kitchen has just about everything you need, with enough counter space to arrange for meals at the house if desired. Parking is very easy in the area. If you love listening to the ocean waves to sleep to, this place has it! Take advantage of the window seat whenever you can for a relaxing cup of coffee or glass of wine while taking in a view of the water with the occasional otters appearing.

A Perfect Stay

Walking distance to both Lover’s point and the aquarium. The window seat was our favorite spot to hang out, read and just enjoy the view. Good bed and storage and a well equipped kitchen. Parents with small children should bring their own plasticware.

Negligence and disappointment at the yellow house on 5th St.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If it wasn’t for the beautiful weather and good friends who live locally, it would’ve been one of the worst family vacations we’ve experienced with Sanctuary Vacations Rentals. We feel that we have been ignored and totally taken advantage of up to this point. I have rented from your company in years past and never experienced what we experienced this last trip.

Great place close to the ocean

We had a wonderful stay with 2 families at this great home. Is perfectly situated across the street from the ocean, close to downtown Pacific Grove and Monterey Bay aquarium. Would love to stay here again!
