We loved our stay at this home. There was a lot more space than what we had thought from the photos. 11 of us slept very comfortably. Maddy was a great host and met us on our first day to make sure we didn’t have issues. We will definitely plan another trip to this house in the future!

Handwasing the dishes was not expected and whomever did them before us did not do a good job. But otherwise it was clean and roomy. The creek on the property is a drainage strip.

Maddy was great to work with from the time we booked through check out she went out of her way to make sure our vacation was perfect! Fit our 6 kids and 5 adults with room to spread out!

Great location

Grand Marais is a great location for access to Painted Rocks and rock hunting. Northern Lights over Lake Superior were a bonus!

Girls trip away

Booking and check in were easy. The house was the perfect size for our group of 5. The house was clean, water was hot and it was a great location. Walking distance to the beach and to town. I would stay here again.

This place was nothing like advertised. It was supposed to be a "Beautiful Harbor House" and was old and with a stuffy smell and a weird lay-out. The worst part was MOLD growing in the window track so that you couldn't open the windows in the downstairs bedroom and dining room. The couch was so old (and apparently the springs were broken?) so you couldn't sit comfortably on it. We considered not staying for second night and trying to find a hotel but decided to tough it out. Our dog loved it.

Great place!

We had a great time! Quiet little town, right next to the lake. The house was perfect. Lots of room and my daughter loved the kids toys.

Beautiful getaway!

We were first time Vrbo users so we weren’t sure what to expect but this location and house was terrific. The house was in a great location and more than enough space for our family. We would definitely recommend and stay again. We have been coming to grand Marais for years and this will be our spot from now on!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was fully stocked with everything we might need. Communication with Maddy was easy and friendly.
