In this lovely coastal town of Broadkill Beach stands a captivating two-bedroom cottage + Bonus Retreat. Nestled just a 25-minute drive from the vibrant Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk and a 21-minute drive from the stunning Cape Henlopen State Park, this property offers the perfect base for your coastal getaway.
As a traveler, you'll delight in the thoughtful amenities that await you, including free WiFi, a washing machine and dryer, and a smart TV to keep you entertained. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, and more, will allow you to savor delicious home-cooked meals. I grew up in Milton, and spent most of the summer months on the beaches in Lewes and Cape Helopen. My husband, a native born Delawarian, first learned to love the water and beaches through our travels and then by learning to fish on the shores of Cape Helopen. We both agreed that we wanted a get-away place with a view of the sand and the sea. Not wanting to have to travel to far, we decided to buy a place in Delaware. We hope you will enjoy Calypso Cottage as much as we do.

Calypso Cottage is a cute cottage that almost fronts Broadkill beach. Broadkill Beach is a long strip of land with Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge on one side and the Delaware bay on the other. Because it is basically one road, with a dead end at the north and south, it is a very chill and private beach, worlds away from Rehoboth or Dewey. At the entrance to the Broadkill neighborhood is the Broadkill Store which sells the basics for a beach vacation.
