Escape to paradise and relax on the sugar-white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico with our oceanfront condo rental. Our twelfth-floor unit boasts panoramic views of the emerald blue waters and famous amber sunsets, with a private balcony perfect for dolphin-watching. Recently updated and redecorated with new furniture, flooring, paint, and decor, our unit also includes a small desk for working remotely while enjoying a beachside vacation.

Experience the ultimate in relaxation with our complimentary beach chair service, available seasonally from March through October. Our beach attendants will set up and take down your two padded loungers and large umbrella, leaving you to simply come and relax.

Our condo features include a living area with Gulf views and a queen sleeper sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer, a bedroom with a king bed, bunk beds in the hallway, and free wifi with Roku. Sleeps 5.

The Summit, our centrally located resort on Thomas Drive, offers a variety of amenities for the whole family. Enjoy the two main pools (one heated during winter), sundeck with lounge chairs, two children's pools, hot tubs, sauna steam rooms, fitness center, and more. The resort also offers a seasonal sundry shop, Bikini Bob's restaurant, a Tiki bar, charcoal grills, and on-site security.

Located near shops, restaurants, golf courses, and the popular Pier Park, and just a short drive from St. Andrews State Park where you can catch a shuttle boat to Shell Island or enjoy hiking, fishing, and more. Parking is available on-site, with a registration fee upon arrival for parking passes and armbands. One vehicle max per unit during peak season. Super sunsets

Despite the freak snow storm and generally cool weather, loved my stay. Only downside was I wish I would have known the Beach Bar and Snack Shop were closed. I eould have liked to have had an evening cocktail at Summit rather than drive somewhere.

Winter get away

Room was perfect. Lovely view from our balcony. Beds comfy and kitchen well stocked. Loved that there were multiple games provided. Loved the heated pool, and two hot tubs! Very nice property and staff very attentive and hard working. Shuffleboard was fun. Only complaints were strip club almost across the street with huge pictures of scantily clad women. No problem with people having any business they choose, just prefer it's not right by where I'm staying but while we were there it wasn't a problem. Would have liked that the two three drink/food/store options inside the courtyard were open while we were there, but understandable that they open for spring when more people are there. Would definitely go back.

Wonderful

Truely enjoyed our stay at the Summit. This condo was perfect for the two of us, bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. We loved that beach chairs came with the rental. We would definitely stay here again.

Summit stay

The room was clean, the two big pools were nice. There is only one ladder for the bunk beds but our kids preferred to sleep on the pull out sofa anyways!

View for Days

Workers are constantly cleaning up the grounds around the complex. The view was amazing. Condo had everything we needed for the week. Chair service was great (those guys work their tails off), location was central and all around a nice place. We will be back

The summit

This was our Second year staying at the summit I would recommend this place to anyone heading to Panama City beach my only complaint was with the pools being shut down early and the indoor hot tub was under construction which has nothing to do with the room we stayed in.

Nice Stay!

All amenities mentioned were available. We enjoyed the Tiki Bar at the pool as well as Bikini Bob's for a quick snack. The master bed was comfortable and there was plenty of sheets and towels. This was perfect to the two of us and we recommend it for any couple.

Anniversary trip. Great room and view.

Nice condo. Only problem was the Sliding door latch was broken, but being on the 12th floor, was not a worry.

Nice place

It was close to many amenities and restaurants. It was clean and everything worked. The water pressure in the shower was a little lite but other than that we enjoyed our stay. Nice pools and hot tubs.

Right on the beach

For the price, very nice accommodations. Handy to have washer and dryer in condo. Loved the balcony. A little trouble with the thermostat and TV, but not much. The pools were handy. Toward the end of our stay the outside restaurant opened which was nice. Very nice stay.

Beautiful condo

This beautiful condo was perfect for our family of 6. Located right off the elevator on the 12th floor. The Summit itself was very family friendly. Other reviewers mentioned noise from neighboring clubs but we didn’t hear anything like that the entire week we stayed. The only downfall is the dryer takes multiple runs to dry. Roughly 3 because it’s ventless. That didn’t bother us much. Would stay again! Also, the posting mentioned 2 bathrooms. It’s actually 1.5 bathrooms!

Nice stay

The room was fine. It could have used a better cleaning before we arrived but overall it was comfortable. The king bed is amazingly comfy! My only complaint was the garbage disposal didn’t work and had lots of buildup which made it hard to keep the sink clean. If you like to cook slot this was a little difficult due to the sink not draining well. It could also use more kitchen towels and dishrags because of that. The elevators are very slow and several broke a few times throughout the week so as others said in their reviews… when you arrive or are checking out grab any cart you can find and be prepared to wait and sweat if in the summer months! The pool was great and the tiki bar was really fun! We would prob come back!

They just keep adding fees and charges. We unchecked the damage insurance but was still charged for it. The lady at Emerald Cost was very rude and not pleasant to deal with at all. Two dehumidifiers in the room that were VERY load and woke you up at night. They want let you turn them off. Run away if you are dealing with Emerald Cost!!!!!

Disappointed

Cons: Upon arrival I quickly notice the unit had not been properly cleaned. The bathroom sink and shower were dirty. The dishwasher was still full of dishes. The balcony hadn't been cleaned at all. There was food, dirty socks, spilled drinks, and sand everywhere. The garbage disposal did not work, the sink on the left in the kitchen was holding water, the dishwasher was holding water in the bottom, there was no plug for the bathtub. The washer worked fine, but the dryer never did get anything dry. The sliding glass door does not lock. The shower and living room curtains were dingy. There was a huge red stain on the counter. Pros: the bedroom was clean, comfortable, and updated, although there was no comforter for the bed. The blackout shades were great for sleeping in. The removable showerhead was nice. The included beach chairs were great. When I contacted the company regarding the cleaniness of the unit, they did reply quickly. We agreed to have someone return to clean at 10:00 the next morning. No one showed up until 11:20. The gentleman that came was very nice and did a great job. The value for the money was disappointing.

Many things need repair

Dryer didn’t work- even after emptying water. Dehumidifier in bathroom has to be emptied every day or it doesn’t run. Garbage disposal didn’t work and to make it worse people have been putting food down there so there was odor as well as food coming up during dish washer cycle. We bought bleach to pour down to help mask the smell. Descriptions need updated because we assumed we would have working washer and dryer- had to hang clothes up in the bathroom to dry- which worked well because the dehumidifier running keeps it very warm. We were very discouraged. The bedding was clean so we were thankful to at least have a clean bed to sleep in. Emailed owner about garbage disposal- didn’t realize dryer wasn’t drying until later in the week- which made it difficult to wash towels. Also plates were out in cabinet dirty- we discovered this when we were pulling them out to eat. Whoever does inspections after stays really should be more thorough. Also, was looking for sheets for pullout bed- found a dirty one shoved in the top of the closet before we realized there was a clean on on the nightstand. Was glad I brought a blanket because the only bedding provided was sheets. Our son had to go buy a blanket to have one for the night. This would have also been helpful to know before leaving home

Excellent location, great view, overall good vacation spot

The location of the Summit is at the end of PCB, so it is a bit far from the popular places due to the traffic on front beach road. But personally we loved it, had everything we needed relatively close without the bumper to bumper traffic. Once we got to the condo, there were some carts to bring our things upstairs, make sure and grab the first one guy see….even if it’s a dollar general cart. Get it. There are 4 elevators at the condo, and when we arrived 2 of them were broken. So it was a good 20 min wait just trying to fit yourself and your cart in the elevator to go up. This condo is on the 12th floor, so keep that in mind. The elevator is slow, and extremely hot, while you’re all crammed in there like sardines. So you have to be strategic about bringing things up, when to do it when it’s less crowded. I didn’t receive a “welcome” packet necessarily that I’ve gotten with other places. Typically there’s something with recommendations on places to go, where things are, how to fix the tv, etc and there was only a minimalistic one so you just have to figure it out as you go. The beach chair rentals are a great edition to the place except they are so far back on the beach that it’s hard to sit on the chairs and visually keep an eye on your kids. So half of the time we just sat down at the waters edge, or bought our own beach chairs to sit in. But this only applies if you have littles. However; you have to go to the shack on the beach to reserve your seat. You don’t just get to pick whichever one you’d like. They assign you a number and front/back row of the seats. First come, first served, so get there early and reserve it. As for the condo itself, the kitchen is tiny and hard to have 2 people in there working at the same time. There was a bare minimum for pans and luckily I brought my own pan otherwise it would have been hard to cook for 5 people with the tiny one they provided. Oven takes forever to heat up and slow to cook, but does work. The washer/dryer is in the kitchen which is interesting and just keep in mind the loads take 2 hours or more to dry. The shower was adequate, not much pressure but it was hot water. The master bed was great, the pull out bed was pretty terrible, and the bunk beds were okay. Again, keep in mind the top bunk only holds 100lbs so it’s not meant for bigger kids/adults. AC was amazing and kept it nice and cool! The condo has a lot to offer, and a amazing view, overall I’d stay there again.
