Escape into nature at the Treetop Retreat!! Boat Rental Available for added adventure! The undeniable Beauty of nature will engulf you during your stay. This cozy cottage in a gated community, boasts 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms on three levels with an extra bonus look out. Explore the silo staircase from floor to floor, which is steep. Expansive views of the 365 acre private lake are visible from nearly every window! You will truly be amongst the trees on the double deck. The kids will love the pac-man arcade center and foosball table. Soak up the sun swimming off the massive dock or bring your boat for endless fun! 2 kayaks & a Stand Up Paddle boat await your adventure. After soaking up the sun on the aqua mat, relax around the campfire under the starry night. Your favorite furry friend is invited as well! Note, this cottage is perched on a steep hill with sharp inclines which allows for breathtaking views. The winding storybook stairwell is steep with narrow steps. Pac-n-play available. bathrooms are very cozy. No outside guests allowed. 4 cars max.

Great Family Stay!

We had a wonderful stay with family for Christmas. The upper bedroom had fun activities for the kids, the outdoor fire pit was perfect for smores, and there was plenty of space for all of us. Will definitely stay again!

Great place

We had a great time with family at this place. Access to lake and other facilities around made it super convenient to enjoy Tyler and other attractions. We would definitely visit again in future abc recommend it for a family.

Gorgeous Home and Views

This was our second time staying in one of your properties. It was relaxing and fun! We loved the huge dock, kayaks, fishing and swimming! The house is super comfortable and the views are outstanding! Highly recommend! We will definitely stay again. Thanks for being an amazing host!!

Family memories we will cherish forever

This was our first overnight trip here in Texas with our two littles and we made memories we’ll remember forever. The house is nestled in a stunning location and was filled with things to do. We absolutely loved our stay here, so much so in fact our kids didn’t want to leave.

Beautiful Lake Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! The views were gorgeous, and we especially loved spending time on the dock, which had plenty of shade to relax and enjoy the water. The house itself was very clean, with a well-stocked kitchen that made meal prep easy, and the beds were super comfortable. We also appreciated the gated neighborhood, which made everything feel private and secure.The deck was another highlight—it had a fantastic view and a great setup for outdoor dining. We loved having meals outside while taking in the scenery. The fenced-in yard was also a huge bonus for our dog—he loved having a safe space to explore!The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay.A quick note—there are a lot of stairs, and while there are plenty of warnings to be careful, my husband did take a fall and hurt his back. Just something to keep in mind if mobility is a concern.Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay!

RELAXING

This is definitely one of our favorite vacations. The house was beautiful and uniquely designed which made the stay even more fun. We and our dogs enjoyed the large fenced in yard. The outdoor eating areas and deck were a favorite spot for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms all had plenty of towels. The fishing pier in a quiet area was my husband’s favorite hangout. It was a relaxing way to spend Christmas week and we enjoyed it immensely. Our host Kristi was amazing and a GREAT communicator. It’s obvious Kristi has put a lot of love and thought into this VRBO home. Highly recommend this home - it’s comfy for 2 but also has plenty of room for a big family

Blessed family vacation

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation!! We rented a pontoon boat and took the kids tubing, enjoyed the kayaks and swimming, did some bike riding and lots of relaxing!!! Loved the house ltoo!!!

Great place to Relax.

The property was beautiful. The house cozy and roomy. We spent alot of time on the outdoor balcony watching the kids kayak and play in the lake. The 4 bathrooms were great with 11 people. The stairs were a fun adventure everytime, very steep. It is a nice place to getaway and relax.

Unique and Awesome!!

We stayed here over the weekend to celebrate my birthday and this property did not disappoint! The spinal stairs was very unique and the upstairs “playroom” was a great hangout spot for movies or games. The fire pit had plenty of seating and the dock had ample room for everyone to spread out and relax! A few cobb webs around the furniture outside but nothing a broom can’t handle! Thank you for having us!

Weekend Fun!

My family and I had such a good time here! The place is so charming and was exactly as pictured. Probably better! Everything went perfectly smooth and the whole process was so easy with the Owner. She was extremely nice and organized. I will definitely stay here again with my family and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick getaway with the kiddos.

Beautiful Lakehouse

This was such a wonderful vacation spent at this beautiful lakehouse :) The property had everything we needed. The lake is just steps off the back porch and has an absolutely amazing dock that is partially covered. The lake toys made our stay even more amazing. The house was so accommodable with many beds and bathrooms and the ac blew cold the whole time even though the temps were over 100. We are hoping to come back here next summer and make even more memories :]

Perfect Lake House!

This was the perfect place for my wife, myself and our 4 kids. The house is very unique and setup perfectly for a large family. While the weather put a damper on our water activities, I can say the kids would’ve spent the entire trip in the water if it was warmer. We were still able to fish some and I caught the biggest bass I’ve ever seen right off the dock. Will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

Retreat is right at Treetop!

Beautiful property! Nice accommodations. Cute decor. Very clean. Fun house for families with kids - so much to see & do! Silo view is unique & super cool! Decks are great for relaxing, morning coffee with a view and water play! Dock is perfect set up for kids of all ages as well as comfortable place for adults to hang out while supervising. Highly recommend!

Great Lake Escape

This was a much needed escape to the lake with friends and family! Easy check in. Adorable house and it accommodated our party of seven perfectly. It was nice to have a bedroom on the main floor for those who didn’t want to take the spiral staircase adventure. Every room has a bathroom/shower which was great! Having access to the Maui mat and kayaks made lake time a blast. If you are looking for a quiet lake to relax on this is a hidden gem!

nice place for family

Our four kids (7-10 years old) had a nice time swimming off the dock and using the kayaks and Maui Mat. They were super excited to have pac-man arcade game in their bedroom. My wife and I enjoyed the cleanliness of the house and just reading and playing card games with the kids on the dock. Dock has plenty of shade. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Great family fun time!

We had a fantastic time. My girls, ages 10, 14, and 16 really enjoyed all the lake toys, especially the aqua mat. I was really pleased the host had life jackets available. House was very clean, neighborhood was very quiet. Everything was well stocked. Plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. Beds were good quality and very comfortable. The driveway was very steep, as in the description. The circular stairs were charming but you did have to be very careful on them! Overall a fantastic stay and I hope we can go again!

A delightful house.

We were looking for a house for our family of 6 (my kids are ages 13 to 19) that would set us up to do the trade days as well as other things that east Texas offers. This house was the perfect place for us. Not only were we close to lots of restaurants and things to do, the house itself was great. The first thing we noticed when we walked into the house was the beautiful view of the lake. The back wall of the house is full of windows overlooking the docks and Callendar Lake. We loved it. The house itself fit us perfectly--from a kitchen that had everything we needed to beds that were very comfortable. We spent a bunch of time on the back porch playing games, and even though there was a fire ban while we were there, we sat around the firepit with the string lights on after dark. We used the kayaks and paddleboards provided with the house and enjoyed the beauty of the lake, and I went on several walks in the morning before my family woke up. Great place. We recommend it heartily.

Perfect Family Getaway

We enjoyed our Spring Break vacation at this lake house. Our 2 families (with 10 people in total) found the house clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking (we picked up groceries at the Walmart in Athens). The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The kids had fun playing Pac-Man and watching movies. The patio overlooking the lake was perfect in the mornings and evenings. We enjoyed fishing (the neighborhood store had bait), kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming in the lake. The kids didn’t mind the cold water! We made smores using the outdoor fire pit, which had plenty of seating and fun string lights. We enjoyed meals at The Forge (great burgers and pizza) and The Farmhouse (amazing rolls and pies). This was a great location for hosting our extended family vacation. We hope to come back someday!

Peaceful & Serene- will be back

Absolutely amazing! We will certainly be back. The home is beautiful and has everything needed. The beds are super comfortable. They have everything you need in the house and for the water. We loved playing on the Maui mat and enjoyed trying out the paddle board. We rented a boat for two days from Tom whom Kristi recommended and they are the nicest people. The lake is so peaceful to be on with not alot of boat traffic. Lauren is great and even came to our rescue late one night when the wifi seemed to be out. Kristi is a amazing and checked on us multiple times. We cant stop talking about our time at the Treetop Retreat and will plan to be back soon!!!

Weekend getaway

My family of 6 stayed for a long weekend and loved it! It was hot and humid so jumping in the lake/relaxing on the Lilly pad was very refreshing. We rented a jet ski from the marina ( great people and quick to respond), kayaked and used the SUP! The only issue we had and the owner addressed was the wasp/bugs down by the dock. Luckily the hail storm that came through got rid of most of the bugs lol. The kitchen had everything we needed but only 4 wine glasses. We ended up visiting the Green Goat Winery a family owned business with really great wine and lovely owners and bought a couple glasses back with us. We also visited the White Fox winery for a tasting, sweeter wine but we really enjoyed the visit. Overall we loved our stay and would be back!
