This condo oasis (MP 7) is only 1 mile (5 minutes) from the famous OBX beaches! PLUS its situated right on the sound and boasts beautiful sunset and bird sanctuary views. The condo is a quick bike ride to the famous Wright Brothers Memorial, grocery stores, and many restaurants. 2 adult bikes included!
Enjoy use of a pool onsite (open May to early October) and tennis courts on the condo's property.
Parking is free onsite and a public boat ramp is 1 mile away!
Kick back and enjoy some good old relaxation!

Great place!

This is a great place in a great location for a great price. We had everything we needed. The process was smooth start to finish and we didn’t have questions because the host laid everything out upfront. I’d recommend this place to another couple! We will look back into this place if we decide to come back to the OBX area!

Perfect for us. Clean and stocked with all the essentials. Great location with Publix just down the street. Host was responsive to our inquiries.

July 2024 Stay

This was an excellent place to stay for our week vacation at OBX. The owners we're very responsive and helpful. The property was very clean, cool and provided a great view. The community pool was a definite plus as well. Great location that we plan on booking again for future trips back to OBX!

Cozy condo on the sound

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy condo on the sound! It had all the amenities from home and some additional surprises that made packing easier- beach chairs and umbrella, additional boogie board, and some other things that were a plus! The neighbhood was quiet and about a mile to the beach access. We rented a golf cart for the week making it super easy to get to beach and around town. Only issue was finding a plug to charge it in over night so we just ran the extension chord from kitchen window and parked right below in the grass. Worked just fine! Def recommend! Host was super communicative and helpful! Thanks for a great week!

Wonderful

The owners went above and beyond to make sure that anything you might need was provided. The only downside was the too tall grass that blocked the beautiful view.

Fantastic Place

What a great place to stay!! We loved that it had a pool and that it was right across the street because we spent a lot of our time there. The rental had everything you needed from bath towels to beach stuff (chairs, towels, umbrella, boogie board, cooler and more). The view from the living room was breathtaking and I loved sitting and watching the birds and people in kayaks going by. My husband liked that things were labeled on how to operate them and that there were plenty of charging devices in case you forget yours. It is a short drive to eateries and shopping. Highly recommend this rental.

Johnson Getaway

Wonderful!

I booked a mini vacation just for me to relax and unwind and this place was perfectly suited to my needs. (It would also easily accommodate a family of 4). The place was clean, well kept and had plenty of supplies. The porch was wonderful to sit on and watch the sunset from. Conveniently located near shops, restaurants, less than 10 min to the beach and other outdoor activities. The condo are was quiet as well.

Beautiful home!

We wish we could have stayed longer! Beautiful home with a beautiful view of the sound. It was comfortable, inviting, a great place to stay. Even our children had a hard time leaving! We definitely will be back!

Beautiful views

Wonderful views and ability to watch the wildlife from this condo. The owner was communicative and responsive. Good location to other towns in the outer banks and lighthouses.

The Perfect Getaway

My SIL and I had a wonderful stay at this very comfortable, thoughtful condo. I would love to come again sometime. It was convenient, quiet, clean, and we’ll equipped. A lovely view, too. Loved the screened in porch! It does have a few steps that are a bit challenging if you use a cane but good railings on each side helped a great deal. Also an extremely responsive, informative host. I would certainly stay here again!

Quiet space to relax

My family enjoyed our time at Michaels place. The pool was a great amenity as was the screened in porch. A perfect home base for exploring the Outer Banks.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was equipped with everything you could need and more. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, everything worked well, its in a quiet area with walking trails, the neighbors were friendly, the pool was perfect, and there were bikes available. The view is gorgeous. It’s only a mile from the beach and it’s an easy walk. Michael was super responsive and helpful the entire week. The only suggestion I have is that if you like a heavier blanket at night, consider bringing your own because the comforter is very thin (completely personal preference though!) There are some extra fleece blankets available, but I don’t like the feel of fleece, so I didn’t use them. 5/5 - would 100% stay here again.

Outer banks Vacation

We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was very clean and centrally located to numerous attractions. There was plenty of room for my husband and I and our three kids. We brought a pack and play for our two year old but she winded up sleeping with us so having the king size bed was great! My older two boys loved having their own room and beds. The kitchen had everything we needed and we made breakfast there and made some lunches. Having a dishwasher, washer and dryer in the condo was perfect for us also! The pool was great and so huge that it never seemed crowded even when several families were there as well. The sunsets from the screened in balcony were breathtaking!! Overall just a great experience at Pelican’s Paradise!

Quiet and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay here, it’s exactly as it shows in the listing. Bike trails real close are fun, but the view outback is great. You’ll be comfortable and happy here.

Beautiful Stay

Great view, lovely decor, easy access. We enjoyed relaxing while looking out onto the sound. We were grateful that everything had instructions for use. You’d be surprised how often that came in handy. We look forward to returning for another stay again soon!

Excellent Experience! Highly recommend!

This condo was well decorated, well kept, very clean, nicely appointed, well situated, had great views, and provided us a lovely home away from home for our vacation! We would stay here again and highly recommend it for others. The owners were great people with whom to deal and they provided lots of lovely touches to make us feel more than welcome!
