Welcome to Lavender Cottage!

The Lavender Cottage is an enchanting 2 bedroom 1 bath classic Bend cottage built in the 1920`s during Bend`s mill town heyday. Bright, sunny, and well cared for, this home is completely updated with all the modern amenities. The fabulous location on Bend`s popular Westside, just 4 blocks from Drake Park, makes this home the perfect choice for a relaxing and authentic Bend vacation experience.

On a breezy summer day you may enjoy the home`s charming private gardens filled with lavender, culinary herbs, and native plants. Have dinner on the deck with friends, cooking out on the huge gas grill, or relax in the salt system hot tub under a desert sky filled with stars.

Experience the true down-to-earth Bend lifestyle by taking the provided cruiser bikes for a spin around town. You are a 5 minute bike ride to the heart of downtown, crossing a charming wooden bridge across the Deschutes River, and meandering through Drake Park. Enjoy a short stroll to great restaurants, pubs, shops and coffee, all just a few blocks away!

If you prefer to get out of town and into nature, there are plenty of hiking and mountain bike trails just minutes from town. Mount Bachelor Ski Resort and the spectacular Cascade Mountains with many lakes are an easy 20 - 25 minute drive providing endless opportunities for your outdoor adventures.

This home proudly features European style bedding with fresh, clean duvet covers and high thread count linens, new, comfy beds in the two bedrooms that are upstairs, one full bathroom downstairs, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, washer dryer, tv, wireless internet, and much more for you to discover!

We had a wonderful stay here while visiting Bend! Easy walk to breweries and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

This was the CUTEST bungalow with lots of space, very clean with a well appointed kitchen. The location is second to none, I was able to ride one of the beautiful cruising bikes they provided to all the best Bend has to offer. I will definitely rent this home again when I come back to visit my son.

Loved our stay at the Lavender cottage. So close to everything! Was perfect for our short stay. Hot tub was very nice after a long hike at Smith Rock.

My co-worker and I were in Bend for training the Lavender Cottage provided a great retreat in the evenings after long days or training. Comfortable beds, window ac units, cozy couch and enjoyed a soak one night. Would stay again.

One of the many preserved mill-era cottages on the west side of Bend, a pleasant walk through the neighborhood and across Mirror Pond into town. A well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, nice linens. The management company does a great job communicating, and they've organized the house so everything is to hand. The cottage has historic charm which its quirks contribute to. Mind the stairs and don't bump your head on the sloping attic walls upstairs.

Beautiful little house. Wonderful location within walking distance to a grocery store, breweries, restaurants and downtown. Even had a high chair for our 1 year old which was a big perk we didn't expect!

The space worked perfectly for our multigenerational trip of four adults and a baby. It is thoughtfully decorated, stocked, and clean. Morning coffee on the front porch was lovely and relaxing. The house is in a great location for walks to many great activities, restaurants and breweries. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the Lavender Cottage. Its central location is so easy to walk or ride to a number of wonderful restaurants, breweries, bars, parks, etc. We utilized the included bikes and rode along the river and had a fantastic experience.

We had a great stay at Lavender Cottage. It had everything we needed, was very comfortable and clean, and is in a great location. We will look to stay here again when we return to Bend.

Adorable location. Absolutely perfect for floating the river, its just a few blocks off from where you exit deschutes. AC was so nice. Great spot!

Delightful Stay!

Wound up a weeks-long W.Coast roadtrip with a stay in Bend to hang with our son. The Lavender Cottage was perfect for our needs. It was well equipped, peaceful, clean, and im a great location for our needs. The hot tub was awesome to come home to at the end of the day as well!

Excellent location for exploring Bend with the bikes an added bonus. only a 10 minute walk into town. Lovely space indoors with everything needed for eating in. Responded promptly to a minor query.Would definitely stay here again when next visiting the area

The house is beautiful, great location and the host is fantastic. They went out of their way to get extra bikes for our group, and they regularly checked in to ensure everything was okay.

Lovely Cottage!

We've now stayed at Lavender cottage twice, each time for a week of skiing in February, and it's been wonderful both times. Perfectly sized for our family of three. Love the character of the place, and the location is perfect. Plenty of restaurants and breweries within walking distance.

Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay at the Lavender Cottage. Only complaint is we needed to stay longer to enjoy the house and front porch. We spent most of our time on our bikes and outside because the house is perfectly located for biking to shops, dining, parks, farmer's markets, all the things!

We love to travel, and understand the importance of a good night's sleep! We feel so appreciative of our life surrounded by so much natural beauty here in Bend, that we wanted to share our authentic, easy going lifestyle with other travelers. We love that Bluebird Day Vacation Rentals is a locally owned and operated property management company, and we appreciate that they have a philosophy about celebrating Bend culture that is right in alignment with our own. They take amazing care of our home, and will provide you with great service!

This cottage was originally our first home. Not to sound sappy, but we fell in love in this home! During our remodel, we put tremendous care into using green and found materials, such as the wonderful wood floors which come from an old steel mill. We put in all wood windows to bring as much of the outdoors in with us, and did all that we could to preserve the original Bend heritage and character of this very special home.

The Lavender Cottage is in an excellent location, on a friendly street with lots of big trees, kids on bikes, and Drake Park just a few blocks away. We believe that vacations shouldn't be spent driving around in a car! We have cruiser bikes for you to get a taste of how the locals get around!
