Outstanding Zion experience

We stayed at this amazing home for 5 days. Our family consisted of teenager, young adults & grandparents. The home was exactly as advertised! Beautiful views of mountains, impressive kitchen, close to Zion park. We did hiking, rappelling down slot canyons in dry suits & had a full Thanksgiving dinner to celebrate all of the adventures. Highly recommend this location.

Great home for a southern Utah adventure

Perfect basecamp for adventure. The location is perfect for accessing Zion NP and surrounding hike and biking destinations. The house offers great views of the valley. The home was clean, spacious and stocked with all the amenities. We enjoyed grilling on the patio while enjoying the veiw. It’s a short drive to nearby trails and only 20 minutes to Zion. Having garage space was perfect for storing our bikes and dusty gear. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking large meals. There is plenty of parking. The downstairs is occupied but we wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend.

Quiet and Clean

The house is conveniently located about 15 minutes from Zion. Easy drive outside of the crowds! So quiet! House has everything we needed from coolers to ziploc bags, coffee bar, seasonings, to go coffee cups, shampoo, body wash and so much more! We rent about 2-4 times a year and this house annd is better than most other rentals. everything we needed and was so clean! Can’t wait to come back!

Great Place

Our stay was great. Property is well maintained and accurately reflected on the website. They provide a lot of incidentals and the kitchen is well equipped. I would like to see more comfortable patio furniture. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Zion Rental

As a first-time Vrbo user, I was totally impressed with my experience renting this vacation home. Our group consisted of five senior adults. We used this rental for five days of exploring Zion and other sites in Southwestern Utah. The communication with the agent was excellent. Shelley kept me informed beforehand and even suggested sites that we might want to visit. The home is spacious, modern, and well equipped. The landscaping is superb and complementary to the desert environment. Several little things made such a difference for us, such as the portable ice chest that allowed us to take cold water with us everywhere we traveled. The fully equipped kitchen was also a plus, allowing us to prepare several meals in the rental. I was even able to set up my portable telescope on the private balcony for several nights of astrophotography. We frequently travel as a group, and this home was clearly the best of all vacation lodging that we have experienced.

Family Wedding Adventure

This property was perfect for our family size! It was clean, stocked with things that some just aren’t making it truly a breeze when traveling with kids or in general. The location was perfect for us being just down the road from the wedding venue we attended. The view was beautiful too from the back deck. All the communication leading up to our stay was thorough as well as the check in and check out procedures. Thank you for making this such a smooth process and wonderful experience.

Five Stars

The house: It's absolutely lovely and immaculately clean with a tremendous view from the back porch looking east toward Zion National Park. It never got old. There was more than enough room for our family of four. The primary suite has a lovely bath and shower and walk-in closet plus plenty of drawer space. Our son and daughter each had their own room in their own wing of the house. The kitchen has everything you need and everything is located where it's supposed to be. They even left water bottles in the refrigerator, plus other essentials like coffee pods and creamer, ketchup and other condiments, etc. The washer and dryer were modern. Even the toilet paper was good quality. Having a garage was a major bonus in the summer heat and a mudroom to leave your dirty shoes after a long day on the trails. Location: Wonderful location as long as you don't mind a short, 15 min drive into Springdale to get to Zion. LaVerkin and Hurricane are just a short drive in the other direction and have some good options for dining and a well-stocked supermarket. If you want to walk to restaurants and shops, this isn't the place. But if you want a quiet retreat with all the comforts of home, where you can take undisturbed morning walks down to a lovely nature preserve by the Virgin River, this is the place. The host: Shelley was a great communicator who emailed in the days leading up to our visit with lots of excellent recommendations.

Gorgeous Home with Gorgeous Views

Location: This home is nicely situated about 15 to 20 minutes from the entrance to Zion National Park and the town of Springdale in one direction and about 10 to 15 minutes from the town of Hurricane in the other. It was nice and quiet and peaceful but not too far from restaurants and shopping. View: There is a large back deck with views of the mountains and Zion National Park. I got up early to watch the sunrise come over the mountains multiple times (and I am not a morning person). Also...because it isnt in a large town there are plenty of stars out at night. House: The house itself is really nice. Bedrooms are good size and the open kitchen, dining room, and living room setup was perfect for hanging out with the family. The furniture was very comfortable and the house had everything that we needed. In addition, it was very clean. Communications / Host: In a word...fantastic! We received a lot of information about the area, where to eat, and where to shop. Instructions for the house were received in plenty of time and easy to follow. When my travels bring me to Zion National Park again I know where I will be staying. Highly recommended!

Cleanest vacation rental we've ever stayed in.

This was the cleanest vacation rental we've ever stayed in. Lots of extra amenities provided that aren't usually offered; coffee, creamer, bottles of water. Beds were comfortable as well. Zion was just a short drive away and the views no matter where you drive to are beautiful. There was a grocery store just 8 minutes away which was nice since we prefer to cook some meals while we're on vacation. All the cooking tools you would need provided and a nice grill on the balcony. Overall, this was a very nice home and we had a good stay here. One drawback was that I did not notice that in the description when booking that the owner lived in the basement, I found out from the email I got with check in instructions. While we did not see or hear anyone during our stay, it was a little off putting to find the entrance to the "downstairs apartment" was inside the house. It did give us an uneasy feeling. It would have been better if the inside entrance was closed off.

Mixed feelings

The property itself was beautiful and BIG. The house was appointed with items that you normally wouldn't be supplied with: k-cups, creamers, ziploc bags, etc. Location is excellent as it sits in a smaller, very quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from Springdale and Zion NP. Unfortunately there were a couple smalls things and 1 big thing that lowered our opinion. 1. the master bedroom desperately needs a blackout curtain in addition to the pleated shades. It got BRIGHT as soon as the sun peaks above the horizon. 2. The Nest thermostat is permanently set at 74. you can adjust it and it will stay for 2 hours then reverts back to the 74 setting. During the hottest months of the year, or during a heatwave like we encountered, it never got to our preferred temp until the middle of the night. 3. The property manager needs to communicate better with renters. We had a maintenance person bring by some ice and bottled water and show up un-announced. He opened the garage door and let himself in the back door to put the ice in the fridge. I think the effort was genuine and there was no bad intent but this could have gone very badly in other circumstances. This is the first time in years of renting through this website that this has ever happened.

Yarger -Church Anniversary Vacation

We were so very pleased with the home. Truly beautiful views, all the comforts of home. Pleasantly surprised that the home was stocked with almost everything one could need on vacation. We enjoyed grilling out and playing card games after a long day in the park. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you!!

Perfect house and location

The house was perfect for heading over to Zion and other parks. Great views from the deck in the morning and evening to bookend our days. House was very well appointed with everything you'd need, including kitchen and bathroom supplies. Host was responsive to questions and helping us to plan our visit. Don't be spooked by the owner living on the first floor; couldn't really tell he was there. Couldn't have been better!

Truly “The View” house

The house was clean with plenty of space for my family of four. We could have been comfortable with another family of four traveling with us. The location was great and close to anything we needed. Not too far from Zion or the town of Hurricane for groceries. The owner was thoughtful and had a welcome gift, coffee, water bottles, and other things that made the trip easier. I would stay here again if we return to the area.

A wonderful, well thought out and well maintained house that truly makes you feel at home away from home. The condition of the house is impeccable. A perfect location for visiting Zion and other attractions in the area. Spectacular views from the porch are an added bonus.

Perfect!

Our stay here was PERFECT! From beginning to end, this stay was everything we wanted and needed. The house was very clean and felt like being at home. Its location was nice to be close to amenities but out of the hustle of town. We couldn’t have asked for anything else for our stay! Rent this place and you won’t regret it for a second!!
