Renovated cottage Kowaliga area w/ AMAZING VIEWS

This cozy 1,400 sq ft. lakefront 3/2 cottage has been fully renovated. Enjoy the beautiful air conditioned sun room with stunning views while you sip your morning gourmet coffee provided by owners. By day entertain your family and friends on the large dock with swimming, kayaking, or using the SUP (owner provided kayaks and SUP). The spacious deck provides a great spot to cook meals on the gas grill and wind down in front of the custom made fire pit while cooking s'mores and making memories.

Conveniently located on the south side of lake with easy access to Anchor Bay Marina, Kowaliga Marina, and The Ridge Marina. On the the lake you can travel by boat for food and entertainment to The Landing at Parker Creek, Chuckwalla's Pizza, Kowaliga Restaurant, The Social, and Peanut Point. Catherine's Market, Spring House Restaurant, Fannie's Goldmine Restaurant, and Dollar General are 5-10 minutes by car. Walmart in Tallassee is 15 minutes away and Winn Dixie and Chick-Fil-A in Alexander City are 25 minutes away.

Just a short 45 min commute by car to the Auburn and Montgomery areas.

Bring your own boat or rent one from the local marina.

Outside enjoy a massive shaded wood deck ( large tree grows though) with tons of seating options. Weber gas grill for cooking and custom fire pit on porch all with amazing lake views.

Floating private dock with year round water boat access and large dock for relaxing. Owners provide (2) stand up paddle boards and kayaks for guest use.

NO large groups or parties allowed. This is a family friendly cul-de-sac and owners occasionally vacation at the home next door.

NO boat trailer parking available at this property!! Dead end road without enough area for turning.

Quiet weekend with friends

Nice location and perfect size house.

The house was perfect space for two families. The outdoor deck area was perfect to roast s’mores at night and relax. The kids enjoyed jumping off dock to swim. It was a nice weekend away.

Perfect for a family

We loved this house. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we will definitely be back. Its location on the lake is perfect, the views are stunning, the owners could not be more kind, and the house had everything we needed. 10/10 for us.

Relaxing as promised

The lake house was just what we needed to reconnect and unwind! We enjoyed paddle boarding, swimming and just sitting on the deck admiring the view! The house had everything we needed as we cooked most meals there. It rained some but we napped while Listening to the rain on the tin roof, watched movies and believe it or not talked with our teenage boys(the best). The area of the house sits on a quiet little encove away from lake traffic providing exactly the location we were hoping for. We had a wonderful stay for our first ever visit to Lake Martin but we will be back!

Great lake getaway

Check in and out was easy. Property has everything needed and was very comfortable. Really enjoyed all the views of the lake and great cove location convenient and close to marinas and sights. We rented flyboard, swam, kayaked, rented a pontoon one day and jetski the next. Great stay with plenty of room. Owners were very nice and responsive to any questions.

Grad Trip

My son (18) loves Lake Martin so when he graduated in May we booked a long weekend trip with some of his friends. We had four 18 year olds, and two 15 year olds with us. We had plenty of space. The big dining table was great for breakfast and dinners and board games late at night. The house was perfect for what we needed, the kids spent as much time in or on the water as possible. The kayaks and stand up paddle board were so convenient for them to just get out on the lake and explore close to the cove we were in. We had enough space to cook dinners in the kitchen, the grill was a great addition for burgers and dogs, and the fire pit was great for s’mores after a long day on the boat we rented. Ben and Brooke were both so friendly and accommodating! We had 1 or 2 very small issues that came up while we were there and they were so attentive and took care of those things immediately! We will definitely be returning guests!

Amazing Home with Amazing Views and Location

I have owned 3 different homes on Lake Martin from 1982-2018 and have rented 10+ different houses on the lake since selling my last home in 2018. This home is completely renovated, adorably decorated, very well accessorized, ideally located and offers extraordinary big water views of the lake. I have not experienced a better value for what you’re paying than this home. I have already rented it again later this summer and I’m sure I will rent it many more times in the future!

Perfect!!

Such a perfect little home with the most gorgeous views! The house is beautifully updated, exceptionally clean, and it’s in a great location. It is well appointed with anything and everything you may need or want. The owners, Ben and Brooke, are great communicators and were a pleasure to rent from. Our little family of 4 had more than enough room in this cozy cabin, and highly recommend to anyone looking to relax and/or have fun!

Homecoming

Peaceful looking out over the lake. Plenty of room for my son and grandson along with my brother and his son. We toured Auburn for my grandson. Enjoyed the football game. Easy access into Auburn from the lake. Great time and great place to stay

Summer 2023 Trip!

We really enjoyed our second trip to Lake Martin. The house was perfect! Great view, great location and we had a small issue that was quickly resolved by the owners. Definitely recommend!!!

Awesome stay

Our family of 5 stayed at the property and it was top notch - pictures really don't do it justice. Home was clean and well laid out and the deck and lake views were as good as we have ever had on Lake Martin. Owners were very responsive and helpful and check in and out was a breeze. Look forward to going back again soon. Thanks.

Great little cottage

This is a very cute cottage. There were 6 of us staying there. Anything you needed in the kitchen they had. We had use of kayaks and paddle boards. The view there is amazing. We got to meet the owners and they were very nice. We had a great time.

Family Lake Weekend

Best Lake Views and Access of anywhere we have ever booked on Lake Martin! Home is super clean and cozy. The home owner, Ben, was easy to communicate with via VRBO app. Hoping to book again soon!

Our family is from Tallahassee, FL and have been coming to Lake Martin for the past 6 years with our 3 kids. Completely fell in love and we have decided to make this our second home. We rented many VRBO properties on Lake Martin before we finally purchased a home for ourselves. Most of our friends are saltwater/beach people and our greatest joy is converting them to the lake life we love. We enjoy entertaining our family and friends being on the boat all day long Marina/Restaurant hopping. Exploring, sight seeing and visiting all the different spots around the lake that take several days to see. Everyone we take out is amazed at the size and beauty! Highly recommend making plans to see the sunset in front of Anchor Bay Marina. We hope you have a wonderful lake experience at our rental GOATimes and love Lake Martin like we do! You will find lake friends everywhere as other boat will share a wave as you pass.

Kowaliga Bay Estates is an old fishing village conveniently located on the South-side of Lake Martin. We love the location with great views but calm waters. Neighbors are all outstanding and becoming good friends as we head into next phase of our life.

GOATimes is located on a point with amazing view, not on the big water so no being beat up by waves. Conveniently located on South-side of lake martin. The outside deck and dock are huge with gas grill and fire pit.
