As your host at Salt and Palm Retreats, we are here to help with anything. We live in the neighboring unit in this single-family home so we are able to respond quickly if you have any questions or issues.

We like to follow the guests' lead when it comes to interaction. Some guests like to enjoy a private stay with a casual wave while others like to chat about things to do in the area. The two units are so private that we have had guests stay for several nights and never crossed paths. We are here for your preferred guest experience.


Quail Hollow is a small, quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just around the corner from everything.

Cozy Coop is one of two private units within a single-family home. Your hosts, Rob and Cindy, live in the adjacent unit so they are nearby if you need anything during your stay.

Each unit has its own separate entrance and living space, offering guests privacy and comfort.

Cozy Coop guests may use the tandem parking spaces on the left side of the driveway and will enjoy a private keypad entrance located on the left side of the house.

Both units share access to the backyard common area, which includes a pool, lawn, fire pit, chicken coop, and a backyard shed.



Inside, you’ll find a large bedroom featuring a king bed, TV, dresser, and direct access to a spacious remodeled bathroom on one side and a beautiful back porch on the other. The cozy family room includes a couch and TV. Enjoy your favorite meals, prepare your morning coffee or get work done at the convenient counter space.

Step outside to relax on the private back yard porch shaded by a majestic magnolia tree. Enjoy the sectional sofa, hammock swing, and outdoor TV for ultimate lounging.

Take a stroll down your private garden path to the shared backyard oasis featuring a refreshing pool with jacuzzi, fire pit, lawn, chicken coop, and shed stocked with beach and pool gear. Guests have access to the shared laundry room and free tandem parking for up to two vehicles in the driveway just steps from their front door.

A shared laundry room is also available; it is located behind a locked door and does not provide access to the adjacent unit.

Salt and Palm Retreats offers 2 units in this single-family home. Both units have private access and living space. Both units share access to the backyard, pool/jacuzzi and fire pit.

Free WIFI and streaming on smart TV’s in living area and master bedroom. Free YouTube TV in family room.

1 pet under 25 pounds is allowed. Additional $30 cleaning fee per stay. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing a pet as well as weight and breed. (We have 2 cockapoos on the property. 14 and 18 pounds.)

Please respect our wonderful neighbors by observing quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM.

There is no charge for infants or toddlers under two years old. For any additional guests over two years old, there is a fee of $25 per guest, per night.

Dogs
Lucy and Lola are our friendly (and very enthusiastic) cockapoos. They have full access to the backyard and are only outside when accompanied by their human. If you’re uncomfortable around dogs, just let us know—we’re happy to keep them out of the backyard during your stay.

Chickens
Our little flock lives in the Hen House tucked away at the back of the property. You'll have to go on a mini hen hunt to find them hidden behind a big bank of shrubs. Keep your ears open and you might hear the ladies proudly announcing they've laid an egg or clucking when someone stops by to say hello. Other than that, they are quiet neighbors who happily keep to themselves. If you are lucky, your visit might include a fresh egg surprise! Fresh eggs do not need to be refrigerated, so please take what you need and leave the rest for other guests to enjoy.

Children
We’re happy to accommodate families traveling with little ones. A crib, stroller, and high chair are available upon request. Please bring your own child-sized life jackets or flotation devices for the pool.

Pool Safety
We do not allow diving or jumping into the pool. It has a 6 inch sitting area and jacuzzi on one end. The depth is 3.5 feet in the shallow end and goes to 5.5 feet deep. We have a gate leading to the driveway entrance and alarms on the door and window leading from the master bedroom to the backyard.

Pool temperature.
During the summer, the pool is chilled to a refreshing 85°F. In winter, the pool is available for a cold plunge, and the jacuzzi can be heated to the standard 100°F when requested. Instructions for heating the Jacuzzi are provided inside the unit.

Heating & Air Conditioning
The family room has its own independent heating and cooling system, allowing you to set the temperature to your preference. The bedroom and bathroom are connected to the home’s main heating and air conditioning system. There is also a fan in the bedroom for additional air flow on the back porch.
