Property was comfortable we have never stayed where we shared with the owners but they were sure to make sure everything was great! We enjoyed fishing off the dock!

Perfect spot to meet our needs. Enjoyed having the water view and enjoyed the kayak on the creek. Comfortable apartment - especially the bed and couch! When there was an issue outside of owners control, it was handled quickly and responsively. Great stay!!

This was a great stay located in a beautiful and historical neighborhood! Everything was just as described. It is a beautiful setting and the inside is beautifully updated with a very comfortable bed and bedding (lots of nice pillows). We would definitely stay again.

Lovely, quiet, comfortable, spacious apartment with beautiful views of the marshland extending to the Wando River, and Spanish moss-draped live oaks next to Molasses Creek, where you can actually watch the tide come in and go out. Relax on your private deck or take out the kayaks or paddle boards for a closer look at the Lowcountry waterways. We saw egrets, pelicans, crabs, fish, and a curious little anole.The apartment is very well provisioned and Laurie and George are very responsive hosts. A delightful place to stay!

This is a beautiful quiet neighborhood, overlooking nice marshlands and inner coastal waterway. We were looking for a relaxing week that also offered proximity to a lot of options for plantations, museums, dining, hiking, etc. it was a perfect blend of relaxation and activities for our week’s stay. Unit is on upper floor. There is good solid outdoor staircase to traverse up a 2-landing flight of stairs. Host was very attentive, having provided very clear instructions, directions and suggestions for our visit. We plan to return to this location when we again visit the Charleston/Mt Pleasant area.

The best things about this property: it was VERY clean and well outfitted with higher end appliances and good quality kitchen equipment. The dock access for fishing and crabbing was great. The location is convenient for everything in the area, just minutes from Downtown Charleston and close to the area's beaches. What was not clear from the listing: this apartment is in the back of the owner's residence and they do live there. Not a deal-breaker for us, but they were present and visible during our stay. They were not intrusive, but they were regularly present. Check in required texting with the owner and meeting to gain access to the rental, which was awkward and not disclosed prior to booking. We have used VRBO at least once a year for many years now and have never had to meet an owner to get access to a property. It felt a little like an interview to see if we were going to be trouble. I had decided not to leave a review, but they reached out by email and asked "because I have been told by Vrbo that I need more guest reviews or they will not promote our property. We do need to be seen by travelers. Will you please leave a review for us? Thank you." Botton line-this is a great rental option for a quiet couple without children as long as it's doesn't bother you for the owners to be right there during your stay.

We had a great stay at property. Since it was just my husband and I, we had the side apartment which met all our needs. Nice amenities and a big comfortable bed. This was such a quiet relaxing location and we enjoyed walking down to the water and through the beautiful neighborhood. Perfect location to everything we wanted to do.

Family Vacation

Wonderful Family Getaway

The views are spectacular, the house is beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. The location was perfect, easy access to restaurants, downtown Charleston and entertainment. The adult kids enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. Very relaxing!

Beautiful home in a great location

This was a beautiful home in a convenient location for us. Our daughter was getting married at a nearby venue and this home provided beautiful pictures before the wedding. It was very relaxing to stay here

Wonderful property

Loved the wrap around deck and the amazing view of the water as well as the privacy in the back yard. Kitchen was fully stocked and wonderful to cook in. Overall house was amazing. Will stay there again!!❤️

We strive to exceed expectations in cleanliness and comfort, and we are continually fixing and upgrading or repairing where needed. We recently repainted 2 bedrooms, replaced 2 twin beds with 2 doubles, ordered a new outdoor Hot Tub, and got a new King mattress for the master bedroom. it is important to continually upkeep and maintain a house to strive for excellent ratings. Thank you for enjoying the house.
