Welcome to the suite at the Sea Pear Cottage! We live upstairs, which is a separate living area with its own entrance. You may hear the footsteps of our kids upstairs or see us in the yard but it's otherwise set apart and private. Your suite is fully furnished and has beautiful views out to the marsh. It's a one-block, two-minute walk to the beach, and one-mile beach walk or bike ride to Center Street.

The hosts were very nice and very quick to reply to a question. We loved coffee on the porch swing in the morning enjoying the peaceful view of the marsh.

A wonderful place. Just a few blocks away from the noise and traffic of Center street, in a quieter part of the island, is this gem. Sit on the porch, hear the cicadas and enjoy the marsh view. Still close to everything, and great hosts that actually live upstairs and call it home. Great for smaller families, clean with great air conditioning.

Great suite, amazing location

My family stayed here for a week, and we loved it. The location to the beach is unmatched, and Stratton was always available for recommendations. We were there with our 1 and 2 year olds, and they had a blast playing in the yard in between our adventures. Highly recommend a stay here!

Embrace the slow, peaceful and relaxing island life!

Spend the day at the beach or exploring the island and its surroundings… then come back to this cozy and peaceful house to make memories with your kids and loved ones! Kids not tired after the beach, don’t worry there’s is nice playground right in the backayrd for them to play and run.

Cute apartment close to beach

Two friends and a teen enjoyed this cute little apartment. We wanted to be near the beach and it was literally a five minute walk. The outdoor shower was very refreshing. Stratton was great and responsivd to all of our questions and request. We will definitely come back and stay again if we return to Folly Beach.

Beach time

This property was walking distance to beach and the waves at the beach were most excellent!. The area around the house was quiet and peaceful with beautiful views of the inlet. The property was clean and just big enough for a small family or 3-4. The kitchen was fully equiped with the essentials. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, and other beach essentials. We would definately stay here again!!

I'm not sure I understand the comment, but to be clear, we have 2025 model Mitsubishi mini-split units in each bedroom. They are the best mini-splits you can buy.

We bought and renovated our house in 2014 and have been welcoming travelers ever since!

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We love this house and this part of Folly Beach. Apart from the Washout, it's the skinniest part of the island, so you get views across the marsh while also being a one minute walk out to the beach, and 9th block is a nice place to surf, especially for those who don't like to be crowded in the water. We have tried to provide everything we would want in the apartment as seasoned AirBnb travelers ourselves, and we are upstairs if you need anything else or just want to hang out!

The suite has two bedrooms - one with a king size bed (Tempur-Pedic mattress) and another with a trundle bed with two twins.

Maximum occupancy is four people. We may make an exception for a family of five that has a small child sleeping with the parents. But please ask first.

• There are two pull-in parking spaces outside of our fence in the backyard.
• A/C is a window unit with remote, plus a smaller unit in each bedroom.
-Heat is via safe, Vornado and Dyson space heaters
• Each room has a TV with Roku
• There is high-speed WiFi throughout the house.
