Our family had the most relaxing and fun time at this location. The house was more beautiful than the pictures really show. The host was awesome ! Loved it.

This place was awesome, especially for our 6 kids and 10 grandkids. The house was furnished with everything we needed. We made some great family memories.

Very nice property

The property was beautiful and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Communication with the owner was simple and prompt. We will definitley be staying here again for our annual trip to the river!

We truly enjoyed this house and location. The house is very well kept and stocked with everything we needed and a few extras that we didn't expect but appreciated having. The river is beautiful and provided hours of fun with kayaking, swimming and floating in tubes. We saw manatees going by every day.

We had an awesome time at this beautiful home where the host was just always right there when I had a question. Beautiful home clean, the beds are so comfortable right on the river just the best vacation we've had in a while

Relaxing time on the river

Let me start off by saying the owners are amazing! Any and every question I had was answered quickly We come to the river every year for Memorial Day and I have to say this house was the cleanest and most stocked house we have stayed in. It had everything we could need and then some. Great location to just sit and relax on the patio We saw many manatees and even a dolphin!

50th birthday/ Thanksgiving

Home was right on the water. We enjoyed the canoe/ kayaks up the river. Kitchen worked well for Thanksgiving dinner prep. We enjoyed ping pong tournaments every night. An overall great time!

Best beds ever

This home was exceeded expectations! Where do you find a rental where everyone said their bed was amazing. Views far from whole house. Enjoyed the porch immensely. The sliding doors in the cool Sunday morning where a winner with all the family. Don’t stop ,,,, book now!

Fantastic Experience

From the communication with Jeff, to the amazing house, amenities and location this was a birthday trip to remember! This house gives way to two paddle adventures, Weeki Wachee and backcountry to Mary's Fish Camp and Salt Creek Run. Traffic is manageable compared to the busy Weeki Run which made hanging out in the water more enjoyable. Plenty of manatee sightings! Thank you Jeff, we will be back!

INCREDIBLE TIME

We decided to visit the springs and needed to find a home that accommodated our large family. This home was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. The house was clean and the location was so beautiful. We paddled boarded and spent so much time on the water. The BEST VIEW by far were the manatees passing by through out the day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOME. Our family is looking forward to returning next season. Thank you Jeff for allowing us to use your home. It was AN AMAZING VACATION.

Amazing Family Getaway

This year our family spent our annual Memorial Day Vacation at Bigfoot Bungalow. What an amazing time we had. The house was perfect and spacious for our 9 family members. It provided everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed heading out on the provided kayaks everyday. We were able to travel in two different directions on the river to get different experiences each way. There were several restaurants nearby and one within walking distance. Jeff was great to work with and responded very quickly when I had questions. I highly recommend Bigfoot Bungalow if you are looking for an amazing family vacation in Weeki Wachee.

We'll be back!

Owner was responsive and helpful for questions asked. Beautiful home in great quiet area to recahrge and enjoy the river. Wasnt too busy outside. We got to fish a bit and swin right there at house as ell so that was awesome. (Watch tide current) Home was great for having people split up hang for quiet time away from eachother and when all hanging together felt crowded. The home had all we needed for make meals and have fun. We also used boat rental as suggested and they were great as well. This was our best stay so far in 8 years visiting area and will be booking this rental again.

Old Florida meets Luxury Home

Our family (ages teen, young adults, young marrieds and old!) just spent five days at the lovely Bigfoot Bungalow. The location was absolutely perfect! It was on the Weeki Wachee so the water was clear, clean and the many trees with Spanish Moss just made it picture perfect. The house itself was beautiful, luxurious and comfortable. It felt like we were in a totally upscale retreat that was surrounded by the Old Florida vibe that I remember as a child. Kayaking, canoeing, swimming (even with a manatee!) were all day events and the house never felt crowded or overwhelmed. Jeff was easy to work with and very responsive - we had absolutely no issues at all.... Stay here - you'll love it!!

The Total Package

This home starts off with a very kind owner, responsive, and accommodating. We have a yearly girls trip and it's hard to find a homeowner that will accommodate 15-17 people. Jeff was quick to say "Yes, sure". His home was perfect! It was clean (and smelled so good), spacious, in a great location right on the water, it was perfect. When we all walked in it took our breath away, we had found our little paradise. Thank you Jeff for allowing us to invade your space! When you book this home and go for your stay, make sure to check on the sweet neighbor Ron next door. He was the highlight of our trip! Tell him his Georgia Peaches sent ya!
