Welcome to The Yellow House!

A charming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house just outside of Fredericksburg. Close enough to drive easily to Main Street and wineries, but also enjoy being in the country and seeing the stars at night!

Enjoy country living just miles from town with all the amenities. Built in 2018, The Yellow House has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, Living Room, Kitchen, Dining Area, Laundry as well as front and back porches. Free WiFi, Smart TVs with Hulu, all necessities provided and central heat and air.

Bedroom 1 has a King Bed, TV and en-suite bathroom with double sinks and walk-in shower.

Bedroom 2 has a Queen Bed & TV.

Bedroom 3 has a daybed.

Second Bathroom is down the hall from Bedrooms 2&3 and features a tub/shower.

Kitchen and Dining Room can seat 8 comfortably and includes tableware and cookware. The area opens to a back porch and small fenced-in yard to allow for your furry friends to come in and out safely via medium-sized doggie door. Back porch also features seating and an outdoor electric grill. Fenced-in yard also has a chimenea and seating.

There is also a full-sized laundry room.

Fantastic property

The property was perfect for our family get together. My sisters & I get together every 2 years to celebrate one of our birthdays & this year was my middle sister's 70th birthday, which was a special celebration. The house easily slept 5 people, was exceptionally clean & well stocked with nice cookware, dishes, supplies for cooking & 2 coffee makers. The hosts were great & easy to work with. I highly recommend this house & will stay again in the future.

Could Not Have Been More Pleased

Sometimes pictures and descriptions are misleading, but not in this case. The property is wonderful! Very clean and with a host that responds quickly to even the most trivial questions. We will definitely book this again when in the Fredericksburg area.

Mother’s Day trip

The property is clean, spacious and peaceful. There was 6 of us, we fit comfortably. The heater in the master restroom was a nice touch! It was a great house for our weekend getaway.

Cozy house with country feel

My 3 girlfriends and I stayed here for a winery weekend and it was perfect! The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Short distance to downtown and wineries. We had no trouble with Ubers picking us and dropping us off. The fire pit was great to sit around after our long day of winery tours. The beds were comfortable. No complaints. We will be back!

We found our new spot!

We have been going to FBurg for going on 20 years at least once a year and sometimes twice, this is def going to be a new spot for us. The home is perfect. Clean, well designed, fenced in yard and doggie door should we decide to bring our pup next time and the location is absolutely perfect. About an 8 min drive north on Olive St from Main St and comes in right to our favorite quick breakfast spot, Hill Country Donuts n Kolaches. It's secluded enough but not a 20 min away...which is especially nice after a hearty meal at Martini's! Jason was awesome in communications and even allowed us to reschedule our initial trip because my wife got COVID three days before our scheduled arrival back in October. I can tell you after tons of rentals over the years, people aren't always that understanding. A++ for us, we will be back.

Home away from home!!

The yellow house is perfect! Short drive into town and such a peaceful setting. The back porch with the fenced in yard was perfect for our little dogs and enjoying coffee in the morning. The house is clean and has everything you need. This is one of our favorite places we have stayed! Thank you!

Amazing place & location to town

Perfect location so close to everything in town with amazing charm! Spacious, clean, modern with so much to offer relaxation and comfort. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway to Fredericksburg.

Yellow House in Fredericksburg

Exceptional in every way. The location was close to town but quiet country atmosphere. The house was immaculate, roomy, filled with every amenity you could want. The house is new, comfortable and decorated so adorably. I would recommend this property over and over. The host was responsive and accessible for information and answering our questions. Highly recommend, Five stars all the way !!

Fabulous place!

Loved this house and the location. Super clean and comfortable house, decorated nicely and had more amenities than we expected, including a fenced in yard for our two dogs that we were able to bring. They loved it, too, especially all the open space out in the gorgeous country surroundings. Daughter and SIL stayed in one of the other little cottages on the property. They loved theirs as well - we’ll be back! Thank you, Jason, for a lovely weekend.

Relaxing getaway

Their attention to details created a welcoming and relaxing home away from home. The food was excellent and our allergies were readily accommodated. The kitchen was well kitted out. The household cleanliness was much appreciated. Downtown Fredericksburg is minutes away allowing for a day of historic sites and wine tasting opportunities. It was a pleasure to return to a quiet peaceful setting at the end of the day. Our host was unobtrusive yet responsive to requests. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Awesome Long Weekend!

The Yellow House was such a great space to stay and explore Fredericksburg! The king sized bed in the master was so comfy plus having a living room and kitchen (plus two other bedrooms we didn’t even need for this trip but will when we come back with the kids!) was so great. The fenced in backyard and dog door were perfect for our dog. The covered back deck was perfect for sitting out and enjoying the quiet nature - including some deer visitors! Jason was super friendly and quick on communication! Would highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back!

A Little Bit of Heaven!

The setting, accommodations, host, and service were truly outstanding! Cabins Out Back is a perfect quiet, scenic getaway from the hustle/bustle of city life. You can enjoy the quiet country setting with occasional spottings of wildlife! Treat yourself! You will be glad you did! I highly recommend this place!
