NEW MANAGEMENT! We, the owners, have taken over management of our home. We are mostly on-site (in a separate apartment behind the garage) and are here to make sure your stay with us is wonderful!

Welcome to the Neighborhood! Our charming home has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and an open layout. Our home is clean and well maintained and boasts a huge kitchen with an island and breakfast bar featuring a gas/convection stove, an updated bathroom and new second bathroom upstairs, large, level yard for games and privacy, & large covered deck for enjoyment in rain or shine!

The first floor has a great open floor plan that allows family and friends to enjoy themselves from the kitchen, dining room, or living room. These three rooms are all open to each other so the entertainment flows naturally from one room to the next. The first floor also has one full bathroom, washer and dryer, and two bedrooms each with a queen bed.

The 2nd floor has a full bathroom and two bedrooms. The bedroom to the left has a desk, recliner, and king sized bed. The bedroom to the right is cozy with a queen bed.

Enjoy the back yard and huge covered deck! The back deck is right off the kitchen and includes a seating area and an electric grill.

Our home has a strict policy against noise after 10 PM nightly. It is important to us that we are good neighbors and a compliment to the community. We use a noise monitoring device; It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply listens to the noise level (measured in decibels).

Sidewalks, trees and lovely homes provide a nice area for walking or biking. A local coffee shop is at the end of our street and groceries, Starbucks and shopping is all within walking distance.

Perfect weekend getaway!

The property was great. There was space for each kid to have their own room, the neighborhood was nice and the host were great about communicating. The kitchen was stocled with what we needed and the location was close to all the things we wanted to do.

Perfect location for Greater Louisville

This was the perfect location for our visit to Louisville due to the convenient location. The home was very clean and cozy and the mattress were extremely comfortable. The hosts were located on the property and even stopped-by to see if we needed anything. Excellent communication and hassle free check-in and check-out. We will be staying here again for our next visit to the Ville.

The house was in a very well kept neighborhood and was conveniently located near major hi ways and thoroughfares. House was neat and clean and the landscaping was maintained. I gave it a 4 star on the first question only because of the stairs. They are a little steep, but it is a home that was probably built in the 60’s. Lynn and Paul were great hosts!

Great place to stay

We had a great stay here. Very close to downtown Louisville, but still definitely in the suburbs. Very safe neighborhood. Was a perfect house for what we needed.

Our group of 5 educators say “thank you” for your clean, safe and well equipped home in a wonderfully located neighborhood. We were able to attend our conference during the day and have a restful place to return to for fellowship and restorative sleep in the evening. The host was attentive to our questions before and during travel as we navigated the city. After our 9 hour drive into Louisville we were also grateful for a neighborhood where we could walk, talk and even dine at a local restaurant around the corner from the home. Thank you for your hospitality.

Excellent property…highly recommend!

We stayed at this house over Derby weekend with friends. Very clean and in a good, quiet neighborhood close to the expressway. The hosts made us feel so welcome and were great at communicating, even checking in on how we were doing during our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

Pleasant Cottage in convenient location
