This is our second stay at the house. Great location and incredibly responsive hosts. The coffee maker wasn’t working when we arrive and a new one was delivered within hours. We would definitely return.

Great location just off Park Ave. We were staying for the Nitrate Picture Show at the George Eastman Museum so had a very nice 15 walk from there. Clean home, nice backyard. Easy off street parking.

So close to almost everything for walking. Could easily ride a bike to the closest Wegman’s. Quiet the entire stay. Would definitely stay again.

Emily and Amanda have a lovely home — we enjoyed slow mornings on the front porch and back patio, and our two young kids were thrilled to each have their own space filled with character. Things only get better when you consider the location, as we'd come back to Rochester to spend more time on the charming Park Ave alone. This space is a wonderful location for the city at large, too, as we got to the airport, the Strong Museum, and to friends in nearby towns like Penfield within 15 minutes. Plus, Emily and Amanda were extremely accessible and proactive in communicating. We had all the details we needed and received quick replies whenever some odds or ends questions came up. We definitely hope to be back!

Quaint home in quiet city neighborhood, close to restaurants, retail, major highways and parks. Home was super clean and updated appropriately - well decorated and stocked. Hosts were perfect and clear with communication. Would definitely stay again!

A must stay!

Very cute property close to bars/restaurants. The back outside area was a great place to enjoy a nice evening. The inside has a clean, updated feel and was a perfect space for 5 adults without feeling cramped! 10/10 would stay again!

Best part of Rochester

You can't beat the Park Ave area for a Rochester visit! Our VRBO was great. Gas fireplace in the living room is a nice touch. Only issue is an unusual stairs up to the bedrooms. Took a little getting used to and had to be careful

Good location and accurate description

The description of the property is spot on. Renovated older home in a good location. Very comfortable, homey and with all the necessities. Could walk to several restaurants in a good neighborhood. We were in town to visit area colleges and the location made it easy. Parking os helpful to just jump in car to run to Wegmans or anywhere. We will book again if we’re ever in Rochester.

Comfy home in a quiet neighborhood

The house was very clean and comfortable. While located within a few blocks of I490, as are most homes in Rochester, the road traffic was not easily heard, only slightly when the windows were open. The stairs in this home are very steep, so those with mobility issues should plan on using the lower bedroom and full bath. The hosts were very accessible and made sure that our needs were met.

There are not too many places I ever think I would definitely book again but this place is the exception! I chose it for the location to my daughters’s school (Eastman School of Music), my mom’s need to have a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, the parking and proximity to good restaurants. In fact, the restaurants were so delicious and affordable and within walking distance that we actually never cooked during our one week stay. The kitchen had enough space and was stocked well enough to cook but we chose not to. Communication with our hosts was easy, friendly and we found them very responsive. Check out was great as we didn’t have to take out the trash or wash and put away all the dishes like most places. Keyless entry was easy. I will say that the stairs were the steepest I’ve ever seen so I was a little nervous using them but I survived, lol. The door knobs were very loose but I didn’t feel the need to close my bedroom door all the way nor my upstairs bathroom as it was just my mom and I. There are two bedrooms upstairs with one bathroom. I chose the bedroom where I didn’t need to walk a few stairs down and back up in the middle of the night to get to the bathroom. That seemed very unsafe for me but then again I can be a klutz. The living room was cute and the television was easy to operate. I did have to reset the WiFi to make it work. Once working, it was quick and stable. We look forward to staying here again next year!!!

The location is terrific, walk across the street to bank, CVS, and all the shopping and dining that Park Ave has to offer. Wonderful stay
