The accommodations clean and comfortable with high value for this location. The beds were comfy and the appliances were more than adequate and in good working order. The long driveway was great for multiple vehicles to park easily. We recommend this location and we will likely stay here again on another trip to Rochester/Irondequoit!

We had a great trip and the house was perfect for our family. The house has been updated and has brand new appliances. We enjoyed using the fire pit and watching wildlife roam through the neighborhood from the front porch. We would stay here again if visiting Rochester.

We had a group of extended family members staying together. The only negative was the bathrooms weren’t very clean. We would have appreciated more towels for a 5 night stay, but laundry machines were available. The listing didn’t mention a barbecue grill, so we were delighted to discover that.

Very responsive host. Very close to alot of activities and shopping. Close to lake and walking paths. Beds comfortable. House larger than expected

The home was cozy and family oriented. All amenities were good and the beds slept well. We enjoyed our stay even if the weather was cold outside. We would definitely stay again in the summer months. I thank you.

That large mostly stocked kitchen was great for us. We celebrated to holiday together and prepared food and baked cookies.We also loved the tub!

The kitchen was fantastic. The online description represented the home to a T. Great neighborhood.The only negative comment I have is that the cleaning crew could do a better job.

Relaxing and beautiful area

Family Vacation

Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Neighborhood is nice and this beautiful house is surrounded by many other beautiful houses. Deer visit the yard every morning and it was nice to watch them through the house big beautiful windows.

A great house near the lake in Irondequoit

We enjoyed this house, from the size and the number of rooms to the location and access to everything needed while we were in town for a funeral. Communication was simple and quick with property owners. Priced to enjoy!

Beautiful hike within walking distance of the lake

The home is comfortably furnished and very clean. Some of the interior doorknobs appear to be original, adding to the beauty, but also making it impossible to lock some doors, minimizing privacy. The kitchen is fully stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Host was responsive and respectful. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was really charming! The master bath needs to be redone I think it has serious leaks by the looks of the ceiling in the room below it! Other then that the neighborhood was nice, the house was clean and had everything we needed.

Our family had a great time at this property for a family reunion. The place was extremely clean, with enough parking for 6 cars (in a line) off street. The kitchen was large and the open floor plan let us spread out between the kitchen, eating area, and living room. The decorating is calm and minimal. We didn't use it, but there was an entire empty room downstairs that could have been designated the kids' play room, if we had had any kids there. The beds are very comfortable and the neighborhood is totally quiet. Though I don't think it was listed in the description, there is a good gas grill out on the deck that we used in the perfect early summer weather. We were surprised that there was no bath soap -- only one of us had thought to bring any along -- and no tissues. The stairs are also pretty noisy, as is common in older houses. This was an issue in the night, since three bedrooms are upstairs, and the upstairs bathroom is off one of the bedrooms, meaning that some people went downstairs if they had to get up in the night (or else come through the large bedroom). All in all it was a good house, with its own quirks (as all our houses have) and we would stay there again in the future.

Large house with thoughtful extras

This property was perfect for our family of 8. We were all in Rochester for a family wedding and this house was perfect. Many of us traveled a distance and this house had lots of space to spread out and relax. The kitchen is large with top of the line appliances which allowed us to cook our own meals. 2 bathrooms were helpful but upstairs bathroom did not have a working shower ( shower head needs to be replaced). Bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. All linens were provided which was nice! We enjoyed a fire outside utilizing the provided firepit. Owners checked in on us several times. Location was great as we did explore many different areas of Rochester and this was centrally located. Nice quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again!

Quite and Peaceful

There were four of us that stayed in this beautiful home, while visiting the area. It was nice and clean, kitchen appliances were very nice and versatile. The front fire pit was very nice to relax on a few of the chilly nights. The backyard and porch area were also very nice and peaceful. A few things, that would recommend to enhance the experience for visitors would be to add a guest book for other guests to share places the would recommend to visit or eat, or other establishments they would recommend in the area. Lastly, we all felt that there wasn’t enough towels and wash rags. We each had one each to use, yes there is a very nice washer and dryer. However, it was a little inconsistent. Other than that we had a wonderful time and would stay there again.

Rochester stay

This is a beautiful house with a very cozy and warm appeal. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well laid out with coffee maker, microwave, two stoves and a refrigerator with ice and water on the front door. There is a propane BBQ which worked very well and a fire pit in the front. (we did not use this as it was very hot during our stay) The house easily cared for our 8 guests and there were not issues over the 4 day stay. It is located 10 minutes from a large mall with grocery and other shopping needs and was close to the lake. We were very happy with our stay and would stay again.

Excellent!!

My brother and I rented this house when we went to Rochester for a family visit. The house was nice and very roomy. Most furnishings are new, and the beds are VERY comfortable with plenty of pillows and nice bed linens. It was helpful to have many basic items like dish soap and paper towels provided. We only used 2 of the bedrooms but it was nice for each of us to have our own bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed & that's not always the case w/rentals like this. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, and we enjoyed being able to walk to the lake. Definitely recommend this house if you need a place in Rochester!

Our stay for RIT graduation

We enjoyed the neighborhood and the location. Access to a grill was very nice. Sufficient dishes and towels. Second person I called on how to gain access was courteous and responded quickly. A few issues- mailbox was overstuffed with mail and front closet had previous mail thrown on the floor and shelf Seating in LR could be more comfortable- too deep. Dresser or suitcase racks in bedrooms would be nice. Recycle bin was full We received no timely instruction on how to get in or how to leave it Front door- mud splattered - filthy the description should list that the on ly bathroom on the second floor is in the primary bedroom - awkward for adults in other rooms to use bathroom at night. A handrail should be installed on the steps- one family member slipped and fell and had a bloody abrasion from her wrist to her elbow.
