Girls trip to Newport. Walking distance to restaurants and a quick drive to Newport. House was perfect for our group and host was very accommodating. Definitely would rent again if back to the area!!

Girls trip

This was the perfect place for our girls trip. It was in walking distance from restaurants and the cliff walk. Place was clean and fit our needs perfectly!

we were 4 adults two young children and a small dog. This house was an absolutely perfect place to call home during our stay.House was very clean and well stocked with all the things one might need for the beach and cooking at home. The location made it easy to walk to 1st or second beach and Newport was a 10 minute drive at most. House was flawless....could use a whisk and some BBQ tools but otherwise wonderful.We will definitely be back

Perfect Newport stay

You can't ask for a better location. Walking distance to beaches and restaurants. House is newly renovated and very comfortable. The owner was great. Already planning our trip for next year.

Wedding weekend

House was larger than expected, well stocked and had all the amenities that were listed. The beds were comfortable. Close to restaurants and beach. Overall, a great place to stay. Pat was very responsive and cooperative. Couldn't ask for a more.

August in Newport

We had a wonderful time at the Bonnie Doon. Our host, Pat, was always available if we had a question and the house was beautifully decorated and very clean. The size was nice for a family of 6 and within walking distance to the beach and a lot of restaurants. It was also very easy to get into downtown Newport. We would definitely stay here again!

Walk to beach daily

Loved the location and walking to beach every day. Kitchen well stocked but coffee maker dysfunctional and trash backed up. Enjoyed outdoor patio, fire pit and shower nightly. Comfy beds and great living spaces made for a wonderful family vacation.

Clean and safe

The mattresses were comfortable and the house was clean and had everything we needed for a family getaway! We used the wagon to go to the beach, and the front and back yards were great for my kids to play soccer. It was so great to be able to do laundry. The YMCA and grocery store were 10 minutes away. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Great Stay for the Newport Half Marathon!

We absolutely loved Bonnie Doon! What a beautiful and clean home with such cool indoor and outdoor space. The setup was very conducive for a group of friends and there was great hangout space upstairs, downstairs and outside to congregate. The proximity of the home to the Middletown beach area and Newport (across the bridge) can't be beat and we were able to get almost everywhere we needed by just walking. We had a fabulous visit and just wish we could have stayed at Bonnie Doon a little longer!

Excellent stay all around. The house was beautiful! Very comfortable and well thought out space. Very reasonable walk to Easton Beach, but super easy drive to Second Beach and the Wildlife Refuge. Excellent host, great communication. 100% recommended.

The house is even better in person. We had an amazing week in Newport and the quick walk to the beach and access to surrounding areas is so convenient. So much to do in the area and Newport. We will be back the house felt like home with plenty of space for 6 people. We loved everything about our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Bonnie Doon for my sister’s bachelorette weekend! The house was immaculate and so beautiful and the communication with Pat was great. Would stay here again!
