The perfect place for a mountain getaway! The back porch was relaxing and the fireplace was perfect for chilly nights. The house had everything we needed and was clean.

The view was really nice off the deck. The bed was super comfortable and the place met all our needs. It was a distance however, to do sight seeing.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We are glad you enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck and found the cabin accommodating and the beds so comfortable. There's quite a bit of hiking and several amenities here within Powder Horn, but we try to make sure prospective guests know that we are about 20 minutes away from town. We hope you come back out and stay with us again soon.

Loved this cabin. We loved the decor and the layout was perfect for two couples. The screened in porch was fantastic and having a fenced in yard for our dog was a huge bonus. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everthing we needed to prepare meals. We hope to be back again next fall. Thank you for sharing your cottage with our families.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location!Clearly, a cat had resided in the lower level - those allergic should look elsewhere.The property could use some maintenance throughout.Carpet on the stairs to the basement was loose and dangerous.Some table lamps in the main room would have been nice.

This is an excellent property. The screened in porch was ideal! With as hot as it was at home, the porch allowed us to enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks, listen to nature and relax. The house was very clean and exactly as described. If we’d been traveling with children, the downstairs area with the twin beds and a game table would have been a hit. Lots of board games on hand too! The property managers were very responsive and helpful. I had my dog with me and she relaxed along with us. I would definitely book again .

Great Birthday get away weekend place! Easy drive into Boone. Weather was wonderful & the covered deck was perfect to watch the sun & clouds and listen to the creek. But having a fenced yard for our furbaby was the topping on the cake! Thanks for sharing your lovely mountain home!!!

Great Vacation Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a great house! We have stayed at a few different houses in this neighborhood and this one was by far the best. The best part was how comfortable the furnishing were (including the bunk beds). The fenced in yard for our dogs was worth it's weight in gold. We enjoyed the deer we saw in the yard and drinking coffee on the screened in porch. Very relaxing trip and can't wait to go back!

The house provided helpful information for the stay and enjoying the surrounding activities and local events. We could hear the waterfall below the cottage from the screened in porch and it made for a peaceful place to relax after hiking, shopping and other adventures. And with the great support from the property management we never had a worry or an issue.
