Bluebird Day - River West: A serene riverfront retreat in Bend, OR, with 3 beds and stunning views.
Come Stay on the River!
Bluebird Day has a new riverfront property! Come and enjoy River West, located downtown in the heart of Bend. The location will make it possible to park your car and walk everywhere. This historic mill house was built in 1918 for the excutive management team during the mill days. With still some of it's original characteristics, we do hope you enjoy the vintage charm of this older home. This home is located right on the river and steps from Miller's Landing Park. The footbridge that is close by will take you over the river into Columbia Park with a playground for kids. You can put your paddle board or kayak right in the water from here. If you decide not to bring your own, a paddle board and kayak is available.
This charming bungalow has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a gourmet kitchen for those delightful home cooked meals. The private master suite is located upstairs with a king bed, gas fireplace, and its own bathroom. The other two bedrooms are on the main level with queen beds. One bedroom has it's own private bathroom. A cozy living room features a gas fireplace, HDTV, books for those evenings indoors. The private and relaxing backyard with river access, Salt system hot tub, gas grill, fire pit and numerous seating areas is surrounded by nature. This makes a perfect setting while staying right in town.
You are just 30 minutes away from Mt Bachelor Ski resort and the Central Oregon Cascades. Hiking trails, mountain bike trails, yummy food, floating the river, summer concerts, shopping, and Bend's vibe makes a great place for your vacation.

What an absolute gem! This was our first time visiting Bend and this little cottage was the perfect place for our family. Great location on the river, SUPs, hot tub and beautiful backyard for relaxing under the willow trees. We will definitely be back!

Loved this place right on the river, easy access to the river trail and Columbia Park, hot tub after ski days, and lots of breweries and restaurants nearby. Very cozy with the fireplace downstairs and in the master loft.

It was a great location. It’s just like it looks. The house is older, we needed a few things fixed but the mgmt was very responsive.

Ski trip
We enjoyed our short ski trip to Mt. Bachelor/Bend. The conditions on the mountain were great, we loved the town and the location and amenities of the house were fantastic!

Great home for Bend visit
Perfect house for our family of 4 adults and one 4-year old. It had everything you need and a great location too. We will be happy to return on our next visit to Bend.

Visiting family
River West was a very pleasant rental. Perfect size in a perfect location. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Weather could have been a little warmer Thursday & Friday.

Great spot in central Bend!
Super nice location to stay for our ski trip to Bachelor! We stayed during a a crazy weather event of zero degree temps and 2 feet of snow in town and it was perfect to watch ice float down the river from the warmth of the hot tub in the backyard. The host even came by and shoveled snow for us around the property. Great stay, thanks!
