Such a great spot and cute cottage

We had a wonderful stay and the management company was really good- there when we needed but also not bombarding with information (which I prefer!). The cottage is in such a beautiful, walkable location, and the beds are comfy and the area felt safe and neighborhood-y! I’d recommend this low key beach cottage stay!

Great location, short walk to the beach with beautiful views; amenities such as beach chairs, boogie boards, and towels were much appreciated. Beds were comfortable and layout was nice. Only thing that could’ve been improved were the screens in the windows (as many were nonfunctional or needing repair). Great place to stay for the family and would rent again!

Wonderful family getaway

We had a wonderful stay at your place! It was more spacious than expected and very comfortable and clean. The location in La Jolla, so close to the beach is amazing. We really enjoyed discovering the neighborhood by walk. Thanks you, we will book again for sure!

Great Getaway!

Love, love, love this VRBO. Super close to the beach. It had all the amenities needed. The property managers were quick to respond and very helpful. We will make this an annual destination!

Amazing location and awesome house!

The location was everything. So close to the beach, an organic grocery store, restaurants and coffee places. You could walk everywhere. The home was very clean and all of the bedding comfortable. The home provides beach towels, which is very helpful. We would love to stay here again!

Perfect LaJolla Location!

I travelled with my dad, 20-something children and nieces along with my sister for my son’s wedding. It’s was such a great location to the beach and around the corner for cafes and other necessities. We had everything we needed and even ordered food through the Shipt app supplied by the vrbo.

Wonderful Neighborhood

This house was great for our annual month stay in LaJolla.It was a very comfortable house Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels were provided.Neighborhood was quiet and close to the ocean. When we arrived all three sinks had plumbing problems - plumbers were called and this was remedied.

Great location

Nice place that is very close to the beach. Can wake up early and walk the dog to the park in a few minutes. Very quiet neighborhood. Couple of coffee shops and a bagel place within walking distance. The laundry is coin only which isn't the most convenient but that was the biggest gripe for us.

Prime location to beach, pet friendly so there is a pet smell.Rooms are good size. Upstairs bathroom has a small corner shower. Wish more windows has screens to keep bugs out. Fans for every room. Love the privacy hedge. Busy in daytime, peaceful at night. Yes... i will come back....if allowed. :)

Excellent location- recommend!

This home has a super cute, private patio that we utilized a lot during our stay. It’s just a half block from Wind and Sea Beach and walking distance to a neighborhood market, coffee shops and restaurants. The home itself was very comfortable. The couch, dining table and king bed were fantastic. The only negatives were that there was no microwave (an easy fix- we figured it was an oversight?) to warm our take out and no full length mirror. Otherwise it was lovely. We look forward to staying here again!

Great location for a family getaway

This property was the perfect size for our family of 7 who stayed. The location was just steps away from the ocean which was great for morning and evening walks. The place is a bit on the older side but the furnishings were in good shape, etc. The new walk in shower isn’t designed super well as it gets water everywhere and the towels don’t dry so we went through many. The good news is that they provided plenty of towels, perhaps for that reason. The place had ants throughout…in the kitchen, bathrooms and even the bedrooms. We’ve stayed in many locations in La Jolla and this one definitely had more ants than usual. Overall I’m giving this place 4 stars because it was a good place. A few upgrades would help and it would also be nice if you didn’t have to pay to do your laundry, especially given the fact that towels don’t dry. Having the ability to throw them in the dryer after use would be helpful. It would likely help the cleaning crews as well since they’d have less laundry to do when people depart.

Nice house if you are ready for major ant problem

Nice house, great neighborhood and very close to a surfers beach. Unfortunately house missing a few basic things such as a long length mirror. Also, the worst part was the ants. I get ants can come and go with seasons but I never seen something like this. They were every where from kitchen to bathroom to inside bed covers on top of bed to on my clothes in dresser. They got in everywhere and owners must have known about problem because I noticed the ant traps in kitchen towards end of my trip. When I reached out about problem they told me to use ant sprays. I wasn’t about to use that in my bed covers or on my clothes. Overall, nice enough place to stay but too expensive for the problem it had.

Beware of Ants! The kitchen is infested with them. Each morning there were 50 to a hundred crawling the counters. They were in the coffee pot when we arrived and crawling each day through the pans. I contacted the property manager to request they do something and we were told to use a spray under the sink. Not only do they know about the ants, they do nothing! Of course this creates additional problems because you can’t open the window in the kitchen that is incredibly old and has no screen. I had new baby formula on the kitchen overnight that was closed tight in a plastic container and in the morning there were tons of ants in it! I reported this as well and they did nothing.The rest of the home is older, which may not be a problem but with no air conditioning the lack of working windows in the upstairs smaller bedroom and the lack of screens make it a hot box. The best part of the property is of course its proximity to the beach but we would caution you to look for a different property.
