I loved this property, close to the main road but off in the woods. Everything I needed was there. It was full of original art, colorful, tasteful, clean, cozy, and quiet. It poured the first night I was there, and the sound on the metal roof transported me to my own nirvana. Elaine was kind and generous. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I had a great stay. Spotless and comfortable. Great air conditioning and wifi. The host was extremely communicative and flexible. Location is beautiful. Would definitely stay here again! 10 out of 10

Super clean. Comfy bed and bedding, plush clean towels. The host provided all the essentials. The decor eclectic, beautiful artwork. We slept well. It's a perfect location, peaceful and private yet near to Woodstock and skiing. Would definitely recommend.

Very clean and cute. Could have used more lighting. A little dark at night when the curtains are closed. A bigger fridge would be nice too. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.

Exactly what we needed...warm and welcoming host, immaculately clean, cozy and well decorated, and convenient to our destination, the Ashokan Center. Would highly recommend.

Our stay was wonderful. We were only there for a night and I wished we had more time. The space is beautiful, comfortable and clean. Everything you might need was thought of and provided, and the hosts are very friendly. Would love to stay again the next time we’re in the area.

Shokan West Wing studio

A small, very clean and decorated with very good taste studio. Good location. Ideal for a short stay in the Catskill Mountains

Super clean, great water pressure in the shower, and plenty of room for 2 people. The hosts are lovely, great with communication and will likely greet you at check in. If you're looking for a quiet and private place for a long weekend, this is a great option. The town of Shokan is super tiny and has very few dining and/or grocery options, so you'd have to head to Woodstock, Kingston or Phoenicia for legit breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinking options, but all are just a 15-25 minute drive away.

Great location

We met Elaine when we arrived, after we had sent her an approximate ETA. She showed us around, gave recommendations for nearby restaurants for dinner and breakfast, and was very welcoming. Location was perfect for our needs which was a halfway point form one destination to another. Woodstock is a few minutes away and was a cool town. We hope to return next year again.
